A Stoeger Condor can be found for around $300. I have personally shot one several times and they are really nice for the money. My O/U is a Beretta White Wing (pretty much the bottom of the Beretta line) so by no means am I shooting the cream of the crop but there is a noticeable difference in feel (balance) as well as fit and finish but I'm not sure there's a $1,000 worth of difference to be quite honest. My "Sporting Clays" gun is a Benelli Super Sport (Semi Auto) and it is truly the bomb! Accurate (30" barrel), Light, points great and I can shoot 150+ rounds of 12 ga. without breaking the shoulder. PS- Watch out, clays are DAMNED ADDICTING.

To me, this would be the key to reloading Glock .40 brass. Thanks! What press are you using if you don't mind me asking?

Isn't he Useleton related?
-
Ok, I've heard it all kinds of ways: You shouldn't shoot reloaded ammo from a Glock .40, You shouldn't shoot reloaded ammo from a Glock .40 in a glock, You can't shoot reloaded ammo from a Glock .40 in another brand of pistol....... :blah:. Annyone know better first hand? (in otherwords, forget what your buddy has done )

OHHHHHHH, you did mean P220 in .22 LR. In that case, I'd go with the P220 hands down purely because of the fact that you would be able to purchase an additional Barrel and slide. Plus, it is a full size gun whereas the Mosquito is like 90% of a P220. Just my . Sorry I went off on a tangent in the wrong direction.

I have had a .40 for a year or so now and my business partner has the 9mm. It is a fine pistol in both calibers. Mine is the rare SAO version without the safety/decocker and his is the F version (Standard) if I'm not mistaken. Shoots well also but the 9mm seems to run a little smoother, most likely due to the lower recoil. The sights are lacking as John noted above. I will probably replace mine at some point with real night sights.

Did your Mosquito come with Two Guide Rod Springs?

Humm, this thread seems familiar,,,,, http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15491&highlight=Mosquito+Walther+Sig+P22 Just to add to the link, I own a P22 and my buddy owns the Sig. They both shoot great however here as of late, the Mosquito keeps "coughing" (FTF's) when using the Remington 550 value pack from Wal-Mart (read=cheap stuff) where as the Walther eats them like candy. Both Guns are kept exceptionally clean and are well past their break in. We can't figure it out. It seams to be getting worse as there as always been a hiccup or two with this cheap stuff but now it seams to be getting more consistent. CCI's perform flawlessly 100% of the time. Either way, you won't go wrong.

Thanks for the info Seaslug!

One of my all time favorites.

Another small change from the previous generation was the absence of the cut out on the front bottom of the grip as shown here on this 3rd Gen: I had always assumed this cut out was to aid in removing a stuck magazine.

Wow they may be on to something here. After all, if the laws aren't changed guns won't be allowed in schools, right?

Nice! Also nice to see you are a Good American for doing your part to Stimulate the Economy :p:p

I currently own many pistols by Beretta, Glock, H&K, Ruger, Sig, S&W, Walther and one lonely Taurus PT-92 I've had since around '92. I have owned it the longest of my current pistol collection. If I had to guess, I'd say it has in excess of 5,000 rounds through it without any troubles at all. Is it my favorite? No. Is it the best example of quality in my collection? Absolutely not. I kept it when it came down to it and a Berretta 92 purely because the safety was lower on the frame rather than high on the slide as is the Beretta’s. I was young and I'm not 100% sure I'd make the same decision again today but honestly there is not any difference in the fit and finish between the Taurus and the Berretta I ended up selling prior to the birth of my daughter in '93. I have heard for several years now how the Taurus customer service sucks and quite frankly cannot argue the point either way as I've never had to contact them. I can say that a good friend has a “big ole chromed” PT-100 that he has had for 3 or 4 years now and the only complaint he has ever had is that it is hard to see the front sight in the sunlight because of the shine of the chrome on top of the barrel. His, as well as mine, has been nothing but reliable and frankly I'd trust my life to either. Last I saw you could pick one up for a little over $300, brand new! You can definitely spend more and find a higher quality gun on the market but I personally feel Taurus Revolvers as well as the PT series of Beretta clones are hard to beat in terms of value.

Ok, now I feel like a ........

It is truly from Glock, not aftermarket, but the 4th Gen thing is pure speculation as far as I know. Glock calls it "RTF2" as I mentioned in the OP but it would seem this is in fact a 4th (or 5th depending who you ask) Generation Glock.

Yes, I had the same opinion when the picture was posted here a while back. Then I saw one Sunday and picked it up. Almost bought it however I really have my heart set on the G19. It felt like it damn near stuck to my hand. The "raised Pyramids" felt sharp, but not painful sharp by any means. I have smallish hands however I've never had a problem gripping a Glock before, this one just felt like I had a better grip.

Ok, I'll bite. What does EDC stand for? Everyday Defensive Carry??? (and yes I googled it first) As far as the question, I have both and would strongly recommend looking at both then decide for yourself. Either way you won't go wrong

Ooh I do my friend. In fact, That's what I like the most. To each his own I guess....

Ok, I'm hooked. I've been contemplating a G19 to add to the collection. I already have a G34 so figured I'd stay with the 9mm however I saw a G22 RTF2 (Rough Textured Frame #2 I believe) version this past weekend at the RK Gun show. I really like the aggressive texture and hate to admit it but I'm suckered in by the cool looking chevron shaped serrations. Anyone know if this new version will be out soon in a G19?

The dungeon, that is exactly what I've called it for at least 10 years.

Let me tell you, if you had checked out their range, you would have still been dissapointed

Have you fired any of the XD-M's? I'm curious because I recently bought one and while at Guns & Leather, fondled both and the triggers and reset felt totally different to me, however I am by no means a professional or qualified to substantiate this. Just looking for your opinion here as you are obviously qualified . I have only actually shot one XD in .40 cal. but liked the ergo's and the capacity of the new M series so bought one to add to the collection. Now I do have a G34 that I like to shoot at the range and plan on getting a G19 w/ night sights in the coming months IF I can find one......
