    Glocks

Sorry to jump in late on this but Glock does make a single stack 45. It's the G36. I love mine:). It's a great shooter and the slim handle fits my hand well, especially with the Pearce +0 grip extension and a rear handle 'Butt Plug'. Apparently I'm one of the few who actually owns one since I haven't seen many talked about.
  4. I see you're from Memphis. Where is the closest Gander Mountain? I don't know of one in Mtown.
  5. No one has really asked which Kel-Tec 9mm he is carrying (P-11 or PF-9). Don't know if it would make a difference or not but the PF-9 is my personal choice for everyday carry. Even though I'm a righty, my preference is to use a lefty IWB holster for small of back carry. The one I have is a nice leather one from Theholsterstore.com. It makes for great concealment with not much more than an untucked t-shirt and jeans but still easy access. Just make sure to keep the muzzle pointed away from your hip when drawing the gun. As always, YMMV.
  6. deafdogdief, do you have any idea what the serial number range is of the suspect finish models? Approximate time frame that the porblem was corrected?
  7. Ditto that. Without a mag grip extension it's hard to put more than 50 FMJ range rounds thru it without crying 'Uncle'!!
  8. These are all great suggestions. Can't go wrong with any of them IMHO. Just thought I'd add my 2 cents. A post a few back mentioned a Kel-Tec P-11. While I don't own the P-11 I do own and carry the PF-9. It's a great carry gun for when you want more bang (than a .380 or smaller) and less bulk. The single stack mag makes it very thin and overall it's light and easy to conceal. It's not a 'range gun' for the most part in that it has some kick. The grip extensions help a lot in comfort while practicing. And if this sounds like an add, no I don't have any affiliation what so ever with Kel-Tec. Just a happy owner. For pocket (or ankle) carry when something larger won't fit, the LCP is my next choice. Again, just my 2 cents.
