  1. Knives showed up today, and let me say, these are the best looking and feeling Swichblades that I have had the pleasure of owning, they came out nicer than I expected! I will begin shipping them out tomorrow, guys all of you that have one or more coming, Email me at rovmanwillis@yahoo.com Just your name including forum user name, and the address you want them shipped to!
  2. The blade will be satin finished silver, that is in the price negotiated already, The logo will be done in Black, the only color used on this Tuxedo knife, this is already arranged The Logo choices will be posted when I get them sent to me, Other than that, the knife will look like the one in the picture I posted
  3. Please keep all discussions on this knife on this thread http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/78591-tgo-pro-tech-godfather-run/page-5 As this one is the official buy in thread
  4. Guys, for those of you who are not familiar with a Godfather, on the first post of this page, I posted a picture of a standard Pro Tech Godfather Tuxedo, this knife will look like this one, with some scrimshaw TGO and the three bullet logo, and serial numbered, a lot of people think it is a OTF out the front knife, it is not it is a side opening knife that like all Pro Tech knifes I have owned fires extremely hard Again Dave will be doing some samples of the scrimshaw for me, I will post them and we will go with the most popular. The Godfather is an awesome knife I have owned two of them and had I knew the knife law would have passed, I would have never gotten rid of them, at the same time I will ask your thoughts on either a Mother of Pearl firing button or the Ivory Micarta one like the picture I posted, the price is the same $240.00 shipped and insured to you all for either
  5. Just wait until you receive your two Larry, you will absolutely love them!
  6. Now that you all see how nice these ones came out, get a Godfather, that one will be Scrimshaw with the 3 Bullet holes and TGO on it, they will be incredible Tuxedo knives
  7. Unfortunately in my case it wasn't just the springs,
  8. Hipower nailed it! Honestly when it comes to automatic knives you get what you pay for. I have own around 10 Boker knives in my life and every one failed, broken springs and parts within weeks of use, after trying with no success to get them to warrant their products I simply decided I will never own one again, I truly hope your experience is different
  9. I will get one, if not sooner I will post pictures of mine when it gets here
  10. That Picture is not the TGO knife, but it will be similar, that is a run for another forum, ours will have Knife freedom Day 7/1/2014 on it
  11. Knifes will be delivered to me Wednesday Evening, I will be shipping them Thursday morning
  12. I should have put a picture of my wife's finger in here, I gave her a Razor sharp Spyderco Salt knife to open chemical bags for our pool, at least the finger is still attached but damn did it bleed!
  13. Ok guys, There were a total of 60 TGOLG101 made, 56 are coming my way with 54 going out to you all, Dave president of Pro Tech kept one, and one for a friend, Les George and the guy that did the anodizing get the others. I will ship them out the morning after I receive them
  14. I am excited for everyone who is getting one of these, but especially for those of you who have never handled a Pro Tech knife before. You are in for a treat! The first time I opened one of them it nearly flipped out of my hand, there was that much force when the blade opened they truly are amazing automatic knives
  15. We will be doing one in the future
  16. Believe me, I knew Dave would not let them look bad at all, I put it in his hands and he did an Excellent job!
  17. You guys just don't know what Dave did for us, I asked if there was any way he could get these done before I go offshore next, he came through if he did not you all would be waiting about 10 more weeks for them!
  18. Honestly, I think you will want to carry this one in your office, the Rockeye makes an excellent carry knife
  19. A few of you whom are local to me have asked if you can pick your knife up from me in person, I have no problem with that if you want to do that it will save me the time from shipping them, PM me if that is the case, otherwise I will update the first page of this thread and post the shipment date next to your TGO name I am guessing I will have these Tuesday, as they are shipping Today
  20. Well soon enough you all will have them, he shipped them Today!!!
  21. Here is the answer from Dave Steven - I have not updated our website in a while, sorry if I didn't mention it somewhere in our discussions about this knife and the blade steel. A lot of customers like satin or stonewash blades and the tool steel is not really compatible with those finishes. So we will switch back and forth between different production groups. The first run was D2 / this current production run is 154 stainless. Both TOP quality Crucible USA made blade steels. The stainless allows for more finish options. The CPM powdered 154 material is actually more expensive than the D2 steel per pound, but we kept the pricing the same. Thanks, Dave
