It’s one of those things that folks have a hard time ponying up the cash for. It’s a big leap. Of course once they do, it’s always “why did I wait so long?!”

Very true. This guy has no problem dropping cash on gear. Main rifle is a KAC sr15, multiple cans and all that. I've told him to sell one or two rifles and buy nods.

Do fat burning pills really work? I always that they were just snake oil and never gave them any serious thought.

They work if you work. It's not a magical pill that's going to make you lose weight if you are eating double cheeseburgers and fries for every meal. Years ago I got pretty heavy in my mind, kind of like i am now. The last year or so has been bad to me I'm up almost 40 pounds over where I would like to be. Anyways, I used a thermogenic fat burner along with eating well and exercise and lost a ton of weight. I went from 260 back to around 215 in no time at all. I was running 5 miles or more every day and doing some light lifting. If you have a caffeine sensitivity they are not for you, you will gain more energy from them and I actually had better focus while on them. I actually just felt better mentally while on them too, maybe it was the eating right and exercising 🙂 Basically if you need something to get you over the hump and get going it will work for you.

  3. Sounds like a mag issue, Usually when rounds stick up at that angle it's a feeding issue. switch back to factory mags and I bet you don't have that problem. In my almost 6 years of selling guns we've not had to send a Glock back for repair. I would be surprised if it was the gun.

  4. Since we have moved on to this being a truck post. I need the used market to calm it's tits so I can buy a Tundra over the next 6 months. I'm looking for something 2015 or newer. I've got a 2004 F150 now but would like to go back to Toyota if the price would allow it. I've found some with the price right but those were not 4X4. Erick, that's a sweet truck.

I was just thinking about when Springfield released their Saint rifle.  I remember thinking WTF, who needs another AR manufacturer.  Their ARs aren't really aren't any better than other $1200-1400 AR but I can tell you this, we've sold close to 1000 of them for a "me too" product.

There are a lot of better rifles out there at the price point they sell the Saints at. From my 5 years at the gun counter I have realized most people have no clue what they are buying. Most people do no research when purchasing a firearm, just amazes me.

Nope.  Still don't.  But if you do, it's okay.

If he's worth 400 million bucks and looks like her, Ehh maybe. I could go for a sugar they/them. Got to make sure we are inclusive around here these days.

I don't think he has a "problem with it" as much as he questions their marketing , R&R & decision making. IOW, the $$ they spent would've been much better spent on a different gun. For the record, I agree, it's a bonehead decision. This gun does NOTHING a 100 other models don't or won't do. Not to mention, whom are its top competitors? Glock, H&K, Sig & CZ. That's tantamount to launching a new truck in the 1500lb class to compete with the F150, GM 1500, Dodge1500, Toyota Tundra & Nissan Titan. Who would be stupid enough to do that? Answer: no one, they know better.

Personally, I think Savage would've sold a ton if they'd come out with a .22LR semi pistol to compete within that niche. But they didn't ask me.   😭

    This, thank you.

I think they make solid rifles. Express, You mentioned a retro model 99. I have one is 300 savage and it's a cool rifle. I think with the love of retro rifles currently they would have sold way more Model 99's, especially is modern calibers than any pistol they will make.

I don't have a problem with it. The market will dictate whether or not it will be successful.  If everyone had that attitude companies like Ruger wouldn't be around.

It won't be successful. They will sell some because people don't know better or just want to see what's it is about.

Fresh prescription and contacts.  I can see just fine.

It's 2021, Greg.  It's okay to find men attractive now.

Wait, You're just now finding men attractive?

  10. I truly do not understand why companies decide to release something like this. It's just like when Mossberg decided to drop their pistol a couple years back. Focus on what you do well and then innovate in that field. Why make a pistol for a market that is saturated with better options?

Crappie fishing hasn't been good this year. 4 trips to Sardis lake, 12 keepers with over 200 throwbacks. 3 trips to Enid lake, no keepers with over 200 throwbacks.

I'm doing better in the spillway area of these lakes since there isn't a 12" size limit. Sardis has a lower lake so that's were I'm fishing from a kayak.

Yeah, 200 fish is a terrible trip...... What's the size limit there? We went to the lake of the Ozarks over the summer and caught a bunch of shorts... problem is their minimum is 9". We caught about 70 keepers while there but man are 9" fish small when your used to 12-14"
fish. I'm going to Priest Saturday to look for some Crappie. Trolling motor burnt up about two months back and I just got the new one installed. Going to be a lot of riding around scanning trees and brush.
