  1. Hello FiddleDog I agree with you. I received my springs for my Glock 23 and 22 Gen 4 models and they do fell heavier to me also.

    S&W M&P

I have owned a M&P .40 and it was easy to carry and a very good handgun, but I do love my Glocks.
  3. Hello Folks Thanks for your imput. I have found out what my problem was. I am almost too embarrass to tell what the problem was. I had the wrong shellplate on the machine.
  4. I have a Dillion 550 and I was changing from .45 to 9mm as I always do and I place the first lubed case into the press and the case stuck in the die. I removed the case placed another case in and again the next one stuck in the die. I have checked every thing and all looks fine. I removed the die cleaned it and place it back on the press and again the next case stuck in the die. I have ran over 20,000 cases through this die. Is it time to purchase another die or is there something else I am doing wrong. I would appreciate any imput from you all. Thank you
  5. I have both the Glock 22 Gen4 and Glock 23 Gen4. During the day I carry the G-23 and at night I carry the G-22. I shoot both handguns well, but I would give a small edge to the G-22. I do not think you would go wrong with either gun. Get the one the fits your needs better and enjoy.

    Kimber

I have had four Kimbers since I have been owning firearms. I have two of them still today. All four Kimbers that I have owned have been very reliable. All of the models I have owned have been .45 cal and I have never had any FTF or FTE from any of them. It does take around 500 rounds to get the Kimbers working perfectly, but they get better the more you shoot them. I currently own a Super Carry Pro and a Super Carry Pro HD.
  7. Hello MacGyver I went to Midway link you sent me and that looks like what I need. Thank you so much for all you help. I was 10 years old when my dad first purchased the gun, but I believe the plug did come with the shotgun. Believe me the shotgun looks just like it did in 1963.
  8. Hello JimmyMac483 It is not part #52. It is a wood plug that would allow only 3 shells in the shotgun at a time.
  9. I have a 1963 Browning Belgium Sweet Sixteen Shotgun that I inherited from my late Father. The gun is in the same condition today as it was when purchased in 1963. It is missing the magazine plug. Does anyone know were I can locate a magazine plug for this shotgun. Thank you.
  10. My first handgun was the CZ 75 P-07 Duty. I do not have the gun anymore and sometimes I regret selling it. This was the handgun I took my CCW permit with and I shot 100%. The gun was very accurate. The reason I sold the gun was some of the same reasons Smith had; lack of holsters, parts, and I was not accustom the SA/DA trigger at the time.
  11. I will be driving through Kentucky going to Indiana next week and wanted to make sure my Tennessee permit is ok in these states.
  12. I have been carrying in Walmart for years without any problems. I carry a full size Glock 22 Gen 4 in a crossbreed holster with an open shirt on. My handgun can be seen at times. I have also seen several people carrying open at the Walmart in Bartlett, TN on 64 an no one said anything. I followed one guy for awhile to see if anyone reacted to him carrying open and no one in the store blinked an eye.
  13. After a lot of research and listening to all of you I went to the gun shop today and purchased a Smith & Wesson 442 Airweight w/o the lock. I went to the range and put 50 rounds down range and the gun performed wonderfully. I am very happy with my purchase and now I need to look for a good pocket holster. Thanks for all your help in making my decision on this purchase.
  14. Thanks for all the feedback. I think I will pick the gun up this afternoon.
  15. I was looking at a Smith & Wesson Model 642 today and was thinking about getting this handgun. Does anyone have any experience with this handgun?
  16. I order a new STI 9mm extractor for my trojan and it sticks out slightly from the slide. Is this a problem?
  17. Hello Folks-Update I just got back from the range shooting my new Kimber Super Carry Pro for the first time. I shot 100 rds of 230 gr. FMJ and about a box of Hornady 185 gr. Critical Defense. I used both the KimPro mag. that came with the gun and a Wilson ETM mag. All I can say is this handgun ran flawlessly and I cannot wait to get back to the range to shoot it again. The one thing I will say is I do need to get use to the recoil from an aluminum handgun. There is little bit more recoil than I get with my Wilson CQB, but overall a wonderful handgun and great to carry. Spook, I am a Glock guy also, G-34, G-23, and G-22 Gen 4.
  18. Last night I stopped by my local gun shop and there it was the Kimber Super Carry Pro I have been looking for. Of course I just had to have it. I took it home and cleaned it up and will be ready in the morning to start breaking it in. Enjoy!
  19. Last fall (September) I was moved up from SSP Marksman to SSP Sharpshooter during a sactioned IDPA match. Does my new classification to Sharpshooter begin in September and is good until next September or will I need to reclassify in Febuary when I originally classified Marksman last year? Thank you.
  20. I started shooting IDPA about a year ago and have been reloading 9mm and .45 cal. for competition. I have these loads just about were I want them. I am thinking about reloading .40 cal. and would like to know a good setup for IDPA. I would like to load 180 gr. bullets and I am using Titegroup powder. If anyone has a good load that has worked for them I would like some suggestions. Thank you.
  21. Ordered some Ready Tactical speedloader pouches tonight.
