  1. Help me out here, I'm building a 9mm AR based on a Quarter Circle 10 lower. The upper I bought has no forward assist and and I have no need for gas block and tube since it's a blowback system so it seems a full upper parts kit is a waste of money for me. What parts (springs, nuts, flux capacitors, etc) do I need to buy to finish the upper?

  2. I firmly believe a shotgun should have two barrels, but the OP asked about a semi auto.

I have a nice O/U 20 gauge that I have no intentions of ever parting with. It's the high volume shooting previously mentioned that makes me want a semi-auto also.

Thanks for all the inputs everyone.
  3. Anyone have a favorite mid-priced semi auto 20 gauge? Used mainly for busting skeet and dove hunting. From internet searching I like the Benelli M2 and the Beretta A400. Anyone have a preference between the two or something different I should look at in that price range or cheaper?

  4. Some people don't care for cats. To be honest, I would have removed it from my vehicle, not for the cat's benefit, but to keep it from soiling or damaging my vehicle. A house cat and a mouse or rat are in about the same league to me.

I find it odd that a lot of people give pets the same credence today, if not more, than they give to their fellow humans.

How a person treats an animal is a pretty good indicator of how they treat other people.

  5. I've bought 2 or 3 times from CTD since their Big Gouge Period, including an AK pistol, cheapest anywhere at the time. It got a bit confused because the FFL I had it sent to, 6 or 8 showed up same day, as he'd bought the others to sell retail, were cheaper than he could get from any of his distributors.

Anyway, I don't care what CTD's biz model is ... it must work for them when they gouge, they're still in same biz, but that doesn't for me. Works for me when it's the cheapest, though. I do believe that's the 'Mericun Capitalism thang in which most folks here seem to believe?

CTD can choke on my capitalism. They haven't received a penny from me in years and won't receive one in the foreseeable future.

  6. Thank you gun sane. I'll check it out when work and life cuts me some slack. :pleased:

I wish we had that kind of availability and pricing around here musicman. It would be nice. Online sales are hit & miss, and frequently powder is starting to run (online vendors) at about $25.00/lb as stocks return.

I would love to purchase from Mr.David. Mr. David has a stellar reputation!

I work every other weekend and somehow I seem to always manage to work the local gunshow weekends...I have no idea how that seems to work out that way! :squint:

I keep hoping Unique will show up again one day... all in time I reckon.

If you haven't been to Prone Shooter on Kingston Pike yet I'd recommend checking them out. Good selection of powder and primers. I picked up a pound of Reloader 15 for $22 and a pound of IMR 4166 for $28 today. Friendly folks too.

  7. I bought a 10mm Fusion Firearms frameset a couple of years ago with the intention of building it myself. I started buying some of the parts, bought the Jerry Kuhnhausen shop manual, and had a solid plan in my head.

Flash forward to last month when the frame is still sitting untouched in my safe. I decided the easiest thing to do would be to throw some money at the problem so I took it to Predator Customs along with the parts I'd already bought and asked them to build it for me. I picked it up today and couldn't be any happier.

All of the non-Fusion parts are either Cylinder & Slide or Ed Brown. The color is called Tungsten Gray and it looks absolutely incredible in the sun.
