We have recently had a discussion about a place I've always wanted to go. One of my favorite bands will be there in April. We never get to go anywhere alone due to the kids and she was afraid I'd be too cold in April so I told her we'd try next time. The next day she was exited. Fingers crossed.
I hope that's the gift because that place is on our bucket list too. We actually had tickets to a concert there in 2020 but it was cancelled due to COVID.

Do they have Calhoun's in middle TN? I try to avoid going there at all costs. The owner does not have a great reputation and the food hasn't improved since the 90's.

I'm glad I'm not alone. I told my wife that next year we've got to limit gifts to a few people. It's gotten out of hand. If it's creating anxiety then we've lost the point of Christmas.

Am I the only one that gets more anxiety than joy this time of year? Every year we spend ridiculous amounts of money buying presents for other people. This year we're even buying presents for my wife's family that hasn't come to see us since 2015. My wife drives to see them in Ohio 1-2 times/year. Christmas is supposed to be about spending time with people and instead has turned into a spending binge. Something tells me Jesus would not have cared for rampant consumerism.
Someone help me be less of a Grinch.

Another must watch show is the new Netflix series, WWII-From the Frontlines. It's one of the better shows I've seen in a long time and I've learned a lot. I'm on episode 5 tonight.

That doesn't bother me though. Bowl games don't mean much and it's not worth the risk of injury right as you're trying to go pro.

It's a business at this point. It's no different than us changing jobs for better pay. It's sad, but there is little reason to be loyal to a school now. It's actually been a business for a long time but the difference is that players are finally getting their piece of the pie.

My wife and I watched this movie last night. It was decent, not great. They could have made it shorter, and spent more time on the point. I found Julia Roberts character to be quite punchable. All she did was squawk and complain the entire time. I was hoping a plane would take her out.

I'm seeing gas back around $2.75 which is nice.
My algorithm recommended this article which is worth sharing. It talks about our record oil production and how there is speculation that the Saudis may try to flood the market to bring prices down even more, which would hurt US producers.

Let me try to find one that will work. In the past I've had issues getting them small enough to work. This forum software is extremely picky with picture size.

I'm in Northern Finland and managed to bag this mature Reindeer.
We've eaten it a few times since we've been here too. It's pretty good.
