  1. Anybody that brings a M2 .50 cal. will win the match as long as the match director gets to fire it.
  2. Mike, What is your max sighting distance. I'll push it 10yds past that....... Really I will keep the rifle within 75 yrds, slugs about 20-40 yrds. I don't have a problem with the any 2 hit kill scoring or 1 A zone, I may go with that on match day. These COF's are from my files and I have not had anytime to make adjustments.
  3. Shooters and match help, Be sure to get your entry form in ASAP. Remember, match workers shoot free, I will still need an entry form.
  4. Gallatin Gun Will have an IDPA match this Saturday Sept. 10. Round count is 67, 5 rounds will be from a back up gun. You may bring your own BUG gun or use the Glock-26 provided. 4 stages, all IDPA rules enforced, bring concelment. 1st time shooters welcomed. As always the gate will be closed, wait for someone to open it. Normal match fees of $10 for members, $15 for non-members, Child $10. second gun is $5 for all. Working Safety officers shoot free, let me know if you can run a squad.
  5. At NTPS in August on 2nd weekend will be the Tennessee Section uspsa match.
  6. 1st Saturday morning at 9:00, IDPA at Dickson, 2nd Satruday and following Sunday at 8:30 and 12:30 USPSA at Dickson. 2nd Saturday at Gallatin Gun Club, 9:00am IDPA. 3rd Saturday morning at Dickson, 9:00, IDPA. 2nd and 4th Sunday afternoons at Brush creek. 12:30PM, IDPA, 4th Saturday at Green River in Bowling Green, IDPA. Some guys travle to Owensboro KY on 3rd Saturdays for USPSA matches. Also in Oakridge TN. IDPA in Manchester TN Also in Jackson TN.
  7. FYI, Chip Perce is now classified as SSP/EX with a score of 119.49.
  8. Gallatin gun will host an IDPA classifier on July 9th. Start time is 9:00AM. Set up is at 7:00. Fees are $10 for club members and $15 for non-members per gun.
  9. I showed up for the June match along with 3 other folks from Nashville and they called it off for a little rain. I won't be back.
  10. I would like to thank all the people that did not join GSSF that allowed me to get a 3rd place finish in subcompact and another $75, on top of the $75 for senior.
  11. The June 11 pistol match will be a 102 round run and gun style match. No cover or concealment. Any gun may shoot, hell bring your SBR. Unlimited mags. SSP will be all IDPA legal guns(ssp, esp 10 rounders and cdp 8 or 10 rounds.) ESP will be scored for USPSA limited or factory high caps, 140 mm length max. CDP will be open comped style guns. 8 round revolvers allowed in esr. Note: June 15 the range will be closed during the week and only open on weekends. We will not have any side matches for the rest of the year and may not allow 2nd guns. We will try to have the match between 9:00-12:00 noon. I will be setting up by 7:00 AM.   13. I'll have to remember to remove all the aftermarket stuff off mine so I don't get thrown into unlimited. Good thing I saved all the factory recoil springs and barrells.
  14. Anybody got a line on a tracked skid-steer loader we can rent for a day, the bays are in rough shape after the heavy rains. (really cheap)
  15. Gallatin Gun will have a 4 stage IDPA match this Saturday, May 14th. Set up is at 7:00AM with match starting around 9:15. 75 rounds min. Full IDPA attire required. We will have a 20 round rifle side match in bay 4. Quitman Dennis will have a timed steel reactitive system set up in bay 5, anybody may play on it at any time until match is over, no charge. Normal match fees of $10 for Gallatin members, $15 for non-members and 1st timers fees are $10 for the IDPA match. Bring off for the ticks, they are in full force.
  16. Bring what you have. I divide the guns into iron sight and scoped rifles. Any mags will do. The stage for this side match is only 20 rounds. It will be in stage 4 after the IDPA match. It is a house clearing stage using a rifle. Most targets will be upclose, with in 15 yards. I have a new door to breach for stage 4, should be fun.
  17. That's the problem with a shared range, only one day given, and I can't work on Sunday.
  18. Gallatin Gun IDPA will host an IDPA match on Saturday April 9 starting at 9:15AM. 4 IDPA stages and one shotgun sidematch stage. 66 round pistol for the IDPA match and 3 slugs and 10 birdshot for the shotgun stage. Regular match fees apply, sidematch included in price.
  19. Matt, I have a COF designed for stage 4 next month, using same walls and layout, and charging the middle targets. Fight your way to the hostage stage.
  20. Close, but Not really, I have changed the classes around to allow more different guns to shoot. The COF will be run like a pistol match, just with rifles. SSP will be iron sights and dots, ESP for scopes and super high cap mags. CDP for iron man ".308, 30-06, 8mm" . Round counts will run from 18 to 28 rounds per stage. We will use cover, (peek and shoot) like IDPA pistol. Thanks for the help
