  1. i love the fact that we live in America and everyone is free to believe as they wish and i fully understand the theology of the opinion stated in the OP. But the logical side of me wonders why other countries that openly accept homosexuality, dont have school prayer and teach alternate origin arent crumbling. I wonder if i has anything to do with the fact they they havnt lost national pride and still act with some sense of unity. Nah on second thought that could never be it.
  2. typo thats supposed to be ive used before not if
  3. you might want to look in to any of the night owl optic series. The night owl pro if used before and is a pretty good gen one bino. runs about 450 or so, field of view is somethng like 60 or 70 ft at 100 yards, not amazing but not bad. Light accumulation is a little lacking, but you can always use any number of IR lights to help light up the target. several good ones can be had for cheap, and theres IR filters out there you can adapt to just about any light with the right know how.
  4. You may find yourself better off using one of the gen ne or two monoculars or one of the older generation scopes. most the 1st gen NV scops were a 4x thats plenty for the distance your talking. and are around the 400 price. you may be able to find a gen 2 monocular for similar, but image quality ont the older model scopes was ok. Really would be helpfull to know your intended uses. And yes i know you said a binocular, but most of the earlier systems werent true binoculars. most of the so-called binoculars still only have one objective lense so you still get no depth perseption. you just pay extra for the two ocular lenses
  5. heres the deal from a LEO perepective. Traffic stops are the most dangerous thing we do. Disarming the HCP holder is just a way to insure everyones safety. Once your disarmed I have a little less to worry about. Also the whole point of a carry permit is to protect yourself and loved ones, While your stoped the LEO is protecting you so just tell us, well temporaroly take possesion of your weopon(s) and return them to you at the completion of the stop. DOnt wait till we ask always to tell us. We will know most of the time the moment we run your information. At that point your being scrutinized and the wron movement may cause us to draw a weopon on you. I personally would like for annyone in the vehicle who is carrying to tell me, it just improves everyones safety.
  6. My house alarm serves several purpoes, for starters i dont think i could ever get my wife to use a firearm in self defense, emotionally its just not something shes prepared to do so when m gone the alarm is her main line of defense. When im home it serves as a good way to wake me in the heaviest of sleep and provides a distraction to any intruder. Now they have to think about an alarm shrieking in their ears, two dogs barking their heads off, a strobelight blinding them and a 6ft 4 210 lb guy with a gun pointed at their head, now thats home security
  7. id go with the BCM just because of twist rate. the 1 in 9 doesnt leave you alot of room for options. the 1/7 on the BCM will allow for a higher degree of versitility as far as usable ammunition. although arguably the military profile barrel is an extra that you pay for and dont really need. Unless you intent on mounting a grenade launcher to it.
