  2. Also, what about the knowledge and skills you learn in the HCP class? I wouldn't want someone carrying around me if they didn't understand the laws regarding self defense, defense of a 3rd party, castle doctrine, etc..
  3. I have to agree. Without a permit it also means that he or she may not be properly fingerprinted.
  4. I went to RangeUSA for fingerprinting. They were very fast and I believe they did not charge because I took the HCP class with them as well. According to their wesbite the fingerprinting for handguns is open: Tuesday – Friday 11:00am – 7:00pm Saturday 11:00am – 5:00pm
  5. Wow, I have been leaving my gun in my car everytime I have been going into a bank.
  6. Maybe the Obama Administration is suing because Obama was tired of being asked the very question: "Are you here legally?"
  7. Thumbs up on the redesign.
  8. I've been looking for the same type of gun, so thanks for posting this. Now I just have to figure out how to talk my wife into letting me have another gun. Remington Model 700 SPS Tactical
  9. Sweet holster, I'm definitely going to check one out.
  10. That may work. I've highlighted the part that is chafing.
  11. Ha, yeah I have a couple of different holsters including leather and cloth, but the grip of the handle sticks out of the holster and that is what chafes. I didn't know if a gunsmith could smooth it out or if that would ruin the gun.
  12. Most of the coupons she gets are from the Internet; however, the best coupons she gets are typically from the Commercial Appeal. I didn't know if anyone knew of gun-friendly alternative news paper/coupon sources.
  13. I've seen multiple user's on forums posting that it is legal to carry in churches or "places of worship" in Tennessee; however, I am not able to find anything to back that up besides seeing posts about it. Do any documents exist stating it is okay for people with Tennessee handgun carry permits to carry in places of worship or is it that someone can carry because there are not documents which state he or she cannot?
  14. The primary gun I carry is a Glock 27 .40. The Glock has an extremely rough grip which chafes whether I am carrying it on my back, in an ankle holster, or a cargo pocket. Does anyone else experience this with their Glock and are there any fixes besides carrying a different gun?
  15. Greetings, This is my first time using this forum and I have multiple questions which I am hoping someone will not mind answering. I've noticed the Commercial Appeal appears to be anti-gun; however, my wife is a coupon clipper and alwas buys a Sunday paper for the coupons. Are there are any alternatives to the coupons that are in a Sunday's Commercial Appeal paper.
