Let me go ahead and admit I just had to google "pragmatism". I may not have had the best education, but I know how to find a answer.

The way I look at it. I would take a well "broke in" colt .22 over a brand new Heritage rough rider any day. I wonder if they used aluminum because they figured it would sit in a box and never be used?

Just finished installing the Goodies into my CZ 75b. All I can say is WOW! Thanks CGW for the great parts and service! Here is a short video I shot this morning on my Iphone. Sights and Grips are next.

For those DIY people out there here is the parts list I used and total cost. I started the CZ conversion Sunday night at 8:00pm just finished up at 12:50 am Monday. It was not a very hard job ,took my time logged some pic's on my phone in case I forgot how some things were oriented. Also polished some internals with the dremel. Total time to do another would be around 1.5 hours with the polishing and that would be taking my time and not rushing anything. I put everything in my CZ but left the FPB "firing pin block" in on the first trial. By leaving the FPB in you have a much safer gun but there was still a pretty good bit of pretravel and the reset was as long as the pretravel. Being that this gun will only be used to punch paper I removed the FBP and ground off the FPB lifter. That made a HUGE difference in the reset and it got rid of 99% of the pretravel . If I planned on carrying this gun I WOULD NOT REMOVE THE FPB. With all this said here is a parts list. I also purchased the starter punch CGW recommended. It worked perfect. $7.00
Parts form CGW "Cajun Gun Works"
1-Race hammer Kit "comes with adjustable sear" 123.00
1-Trigger pin free floating 13.00
2- Hammer and strut pins 2.50 each 5.00
1- Sear spacer "only used if FPB is removed" 1.50
Shipping 6.00
Total 148.50
Parts from CZ Custom " They were out of stock on the flat trigger at the time, but I found one on ebay for myself"

Total 51.61
GRAND TOTAL= $200.11 -

BHK "blind horse knifes". It doesn't get any better than some great american guys making them by hand in a Ohio basement. And they stand behind their products 100%. Check them out.

Either way I think Clay needs to be out of the picture. But im shure they will keep him alive.

Quite the understatement!
I was giving Kimber benefit since I own one. But they are not what they were years ago. Due to them flooding the market with a "$750 custom 1911"

Now wait another week.

Wilson is probably a little more custom. It seems kimber is slightly more mass produced. All are great guns. I own a kimber. But would trade it for a Wilson.
