  9. well i finally got it, however there is no date stamp any where on it and there is some numbers on it but none of them are the date, there is also an area on top where some was scrubbed off a long time ago, i will try to get some pictures later
  10. quick update, the cocking knob still has some rust and so do some of the screws etc i did take out the mag well and it is almost done as well, i scrubbed it with some steel wool and it is heavily pitted but should clean up good and will look semi decent once i blue it, i will try and get some pictures in the morning

  12. With the weather being semi cold and this stuff needing to be at room temp or above to work best I am going to have to keep the parts in there for a few days to make sure it gets as much off as possible

  17. finally got the screw out! (thanks impact screwdriver!) and to be honest i think most of it will come off with a wire wheel! or i could soak some or all of it in Evapo-Rust or something

  19. i got some pb blaster and sprayed the top receiver screw a few times before bed lastnight and this morning tried to get it out but couldnt, i will probably take a wire wheel to it and get more of the rust off and i will also buy and try a impact srewdriver and if that does not work i will have to drill that screw out which i have never done before
