  1. Come to think of it, a trip to a White Castle always ends on a white throne.
  2. It was almost too good to check....but I did, unfortunately.   http://wafflesatnoon.com/2013/03/11/welcome-to-wisconsin-gun-warning-sign/
  3. I'll pass, too.  It's just another excuse for the wife to hit the beauty parlor.
  4. I should amend my little tongue-in-cheek post by saying that even our supreme court judges don't agree on what the constitution says.
  5. I learned a long time ago that it's not safe to trust the opinion of non-lawyers in judicial matters.  Just ask any cop.  :ignore:
  6. I bought a CA .22 Pathfinder today at Farnsworth Firearms in Vonore.  Terrific deal and didn't pay to get in.
  7. Another case of needing to pass the bill to find out what's in it.   http://dailycaller.com/2013/03/15/colorados-magazine-limit-bill-further-reaching-than-opponents-imagined/
  8.   No, He fully understands what everyone believes.  But that doesn't necessarily mean He agrees.
  9.   Okay...copy that.  Although that evangelistic method does have some scriptural basis.  (Jude 1:22-23).
  10.   What do you mean by full devotion?  If it's in the same context as obeying the Law of Moses or an ascetic lifestyle of self-denial to attain righteousness, I don't believe that's what He expects.
  11. I certainly don't agree with the part of the Heller decision which grants regulation of the 2A, which I would call infringement. But it's also ambiguous to allow Congress to pick and choose which weapons should be banned based upon their emotions and frightful experiences. These so-called assault weapons are in common use today and have been shown to be a formidable deterrent to crime when in the hands of law-abiding citizens. The senior senator from California and other liberals on that panel want them banned simply because they don't like the idea of an armed citizenry. They use the firearms' cosmetic appliances only as a lame excuse.
  12.   Considering the sacrifice Jesus made, I'm positive He approves of it.
  13. There's absolutely nothing on TV worth watching if you have internet, IMHO.  The wife likes to look at programs as they are broadcast, but as for me, I can wait a few days.  Netflix and DVD rentals also save you the extra money you'll spend at the movie house.  And you don't have to sit in someone else's spilled drink.
  14. What would you think if that tube of toothpaste you bought instead was filled with mustard?  You wouldn't really know until you squeezed the tube.  Likewise, these politicians may wear the label of conservative, Republican or Tea Party but it's not until pressure is applied do we find out what's really inside.  Time and again we've squeezed John McCain, Lindsay Graham and a host of others whom we thought were on our side only to be disappointed yet again when bipartisan RINO came out.  Liberal politicians never surprise me.  They're the same inside as well as out; hypocrites through and through.
  15. Brass and lead is neither ammo nor hazmat.
  16. Maybe I'm being overly critical, but this feat sort of pales in comparison to what these four chaplains did:   https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Four_Chaplains
  17. I was expecting Queenie Moochelle to make the big announcement.
  18. They're backstepping now.  The latest story is that he didn't get the medal for just a Powerpoint presentation.  While in Afghanistan, the chaplain also bravely ran a suicide prevention training program and regularly held worship services.   http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2013/03/13/air-force-chaplain-awarded-prestigious-bronze-star-for-powerpoint-teaching-about-proper-disposal-handling-of-islamic-texts/
  19. Your grandfather was a wonderful man.  I wish that I had known him.  May God's comforting presence be with you and your family, especially your grandmother.
  20. It is also comes from a part-time president who believes we should end wars instead of win them.
  21.   I think the point here is that it was only after his purchase of the AR-15 was made public that he announced he was giving it to the cops.  Not that he has to tell anyone, but so far no one has verified that this was his original intent.  To me it seems unusual that one so outspoken about the necessity of getting firearms like these out of the hands of civilians wouldn't at least mention it at the point of sale.  He's still mum about the 1911, which is also peculiar since it was a handgun that ended his wife's career, not to mention the lives of several bystanders.
  22. Dang!  Those pesky gun laws....   http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2013/03/oops-gabby-giffords-husband-mark-kelly-may-have-committed-felony-with-his-ar-15-purchase/
  23.   True.  And until we have a law called Obamagas that makes us buy their junk or pay a penalty, we can drive right by their stations, too.
  24. Besides turning the honor of a Bronze Star into something akin to a Cracker Jacks prize, my beef about this is the military has to be PC on anything that may offend somebody when our troops' butts are on the line 24/7.  "It might start a riot," the brass says.  Yeah, they might start shooting at us, too.  But heaven forbid they call us hurtful names like "infidel."
