That illegal social media influencer is now "under investigation" for a gun charge. It'll be interesting to see how this pans out. Migrant influencer Leonel Moreno investigated for gun charges (nypost.com) -

Things change constantly, depending upon the whims of state governments and the activism of Rare Air Society zealots. Here's the Wikipedia version of things--they seem to keep lists up to date. Vehicle inspection in the United States - Wikipedia

Blount County (just south of Knox) has managed to avoid the dreaded wheel tax that the larger counties must pay. I'm sure that's going to rear its ugly head before too long. But the biggest cash cow I've ever seen is the annual state safety inspection for vehicles. When I left Texas it was $50 a pop and you had to make any necessary repairs to be "roadworthy." They were busting owners for as little as a headlight out of alignment. Then again, that could drastically reduce the number of cars and trucks on the road around here.

In all the years I've carried, a .380 mouse gun or .38 snub nose have kept the monsters from even thinking about bothering me. Maybe I should upgrade to a 10mm.

Thanks for the extra vote, @FrankD Taurus said they'd ship my new .22 in 6-8 weeks depending upon inventory, business volume, weather and acts of God. I trust the last one is favorable.

Thanks for the info, @ken_mays I've heard that the TX22 mags are different and they have little gizmos you can use to ease the loading process. I have a similar plastic machine to load my Ruger 10/22 mags, both 10-round and 25-round. As soon as I take delivery of the pistol I'll see if the time's worth the investment.
