Probably back at the Marine officer's shooting club where they hastily loaned it out.

Connecticut Gun Owners Take A Big Bullet
gun sane replied to gun sane's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Let's hope the courts will reverse this legislation before the Connecticut gun owners do, if you know what I mean. -
Veteran thrown out of Foothills Mall
gun sane replied to Fivestring63's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
After meeting with a representative of the Blount County Veterans Services, the mall gave a back of the hand "sorry if it happened" type of apology. http://www.knoxnews.com/news/2013/apr/01/foothills-mall-denies-booting-maryville-veteran/ Well, here's my apology..."Dear Foothills Mall: You may or may not be sincere about your apology to Master Sgt. Trost. So therefore, I'm sorry-- no business from me." -
Find out what the best dressed president was wearing, or could have worn, plus interesting pro-2A quotes. Don't bother looking for Obama. http://seanlinnane.blogspot.com/2013/03/presidents-guns.html

Sen. Graham Says Gun Bill "Going Nowhere"
gun sane replied to gun sane's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Graham talked a good fight when he was interviewing the wise Latina for the Supreme Court spot. In the end, he voted Si, Si. -
You don't need a lot of beef on the bones if you're shooting .22 shorts, longs and LR. Heck, they got polymer .45s now. When I took my "new" Scout for the range test, the first three shots went almost into the same hole. The next three were close by. I was using vintage '65 Federal Hi-Power rounds, figuring they'd be pretty compatible. I watched the marriage consumate before my very eyes. I took me over an hour to shoot 50. When you're having that much fun, you take your sweet time. :pleased:

It's anodized aluminum--not Zamak. I don't know if that stuff was around back then.

If I don't see another miracle all year, this one will carry me through. Thank God you and the wife are still with us.

Sorry to say this, but you can kiss the collector value goodbye unless Colt does the makeover. Have fun with that shooter! I just got a plain ol' vanilla Frontier Scout in about 95% condition, but it will go to my heirs.

Super! I'll take one pound and two ounces worth. :yum: April fool...see you when you get to Knoxville.

Veteran thrown out of Foothills Mall
gun sane replied to Fivestring63's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
It's bad enough that Foothills Mall bans firearms carried by responsible gun owners with a permit, which is a green light for muggers and would-be criminals, but to disrespect a heroic veteran of our armed forces in such a manner as this breaks the Insult-O-Meter. FM should apologize immediately or their client's stores have seen the last dollar from me. I'll take their silence so far as an admission that they're hiding under their desks. -
I know this sounds like good news, but when it's coming from the RINO herd, you have to worry. http://thehill.com/video/senate/291103-graham-senate-dems-gun-bill-going-nowhere

From the Hi-Point entry in Wikipedia.com: And Hi-Points are +P rated. I believe that carrier I mentioned in my earlier post is Zamak-3. All it has to do is lift the cartridge to the breech and it's job is done. If you want to pay extra for Marlin steel, go ahead. But I doubt you'll find better results downrange for the money--or exceptional customer service like Henry Manufacturing.

Not for nuthin', but is he a Winchester or Marlin man? Can't shake predjudices sometimes.

CTD 9mm ammo; Am I reading this right???
gun sane replied to Under-No-Pretext's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
With land going for over $1000 per acre, I guess they still are cheaper than dirt....but they're getting there. -
I'll join the chorus with my Henry H001 .22. After owning two Ruger 10/22s I was ready for something else. Now nothing's gonna replace that lever gun. I also have to give a cheer to Henry for customer service. When I first got the rifle I had a few FTFs--I wasn't sure if it was the gun or the ammo. A call to Henry was all it took. They sent a pre-paid shipping label to me and I had the rifle back in 10 days with a new carrier. No problems since.

Dang! Sorry I missed you. Let's try again soon, Kenny.

For those who don't know, Bill moved to the corner space about two doors down from his original location in Midland Plaza. He's got much more room for his stuff and you don't have to get so "personal" with other customers while moving around. I bought a Colt Frontier Scout from him the other day in a great deal.

And they got booked on several gun-related charges. I don't think they have a prayer. http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2013/03/26/crazy-road-rage-caught-on-video-motorist-opens-fire-on-truck-after-roadside-brawl/

King Nothing proves to the world....

I don't view it as a gaffe. To me it's a genuine expression of his true ideology.
