Tn doesn’t have a registration law.The dealer you buy it from records it in a bound book. They keep the book/books as long as they are in business. If they go out of business or give up their FFL they turn the books over to the ATF who is supposed to destroy them.At least that’s what I heard.

Probably not what you’re looking for but there is a gunsmith in Meridian,Ms that works on old guns. It’s called Whynot Gunsmith Shop.He posts regularly his repairs on FB and IG.Seems like a stand up guy.

I’ve carried a 43x for nearly 4 years.I’m changing the setup a bit,I’ve already switched the holster and I’m going to change sights too.

GT Distributors in Rossville/Chattanooga has Glock 22s similarly priced.Looks like LE agencies are trading in their Gen 3 and 4s for Gen 5s.

This is probably the same gun that SDS is selling with a few cosmetic changes.I know their JSOC 1911 is a Tisas.

True Detective Season 1. I don’t know how I didn’t watch it when it first came out (2014). Seasons 2 and 3 weren’t as good. Just started season 4. I have heard good things about it.
Each season is different stories and different actors.
I’ve watched Season 1 at least 5 times.I always find something I missed each time.I didn’t care for season two.Season 3 had potential but it was too much of a soap opera feel, the shootout at the house was the best part.I haven’t seen 4 yet.

The only time I saw anything reloading related it was a shotgun press and it was way overpriced. The few guns I have seen were fairly priced.Once I saw a Colt Official Police for a good price but it had timing issues.

Yep! That's a nice one. I've considered trying for one, but...have too many now. Considering having my Dad's Remington-Rand spruced up a bit. It's in very good condition for it's age and use. Just a bit bland looking next to my others.
Any type of refinishing or modification will reduce the value of it.Your gun, your call.If you’re leaving it for future generations that’s something to consider. If not, gold plate it.

Been to the store it’s nice, but haven’t used their range. I only shot at an indoor range once. Wasn’t my favorite experience. I’ve trained in outdoor settings and tactical courses. I find that best to fortify your skills. If you’re first learning firearm manipulation I guess that would suit.
There is a huge difference between shooting at an indoor range behind the line with the barriers between the shooters and shooting in front of them. It’s still loud but it doesn’t reverberate.I’ve shot dozens of indoor USPSA and IDPA matches, with only one person firing at a time it’s not that bad.

Just wondering, did Norinco ever make a bad gun?
I heard some of the 1911s had barrel fit problems.I never shot the two I owned enough to see any issues.

You can go all the way back to Columbine to find an SRO not doing his job when the shooting started.

I’ve owned 2 over the years. Both were reliable and accurate.I’ve heard the story of how hard the steel is but never gave much credence to it until I wanted John Harrison to mill the slide on one and install his sights and he declined but at the same time both Wilson and Clark were working on them and doing packages.I suspect it’s urban/internet myth.

I could never get past the long reset of the Hi Power trigger. The CZ 75 I liked.

If those bead rubbers had left the pagans alone with their Winter Solstice and Yule logs we wouldn’t have this mess to begin with.Yeah,I hate Christmas.

I’m a NRA Life member.I got the Life Membership on the installment plan because it was cheaper and mainly because Cleveland Hunting Rifle and Pistol Club requires you to be a NRA member.

Regarding his legal troubles,I wonder the same thing. I was on a waiting list for a Springfield Vickers Master Class 1911.The quoted price was $1400 but when it arrived 2.5 years later the price was $1900.I passed but wonder now if perhaps I should have bought it.

Go to Harbor Freight or Home Depot and buy a plastic mallet, remove the slide and whack the rear sight until it where you want it,

Been hearing this since the M&P came out way back when. Glocks are still selling.
And Glocks always will. You can take a M&P,XD,PDP,etc and a Glock to a gun show and you will probably sell the Glock before you get in the door,if not then certainly within an hr.You will probably end up taking the others back home with you. That’s why I don’t buy or trade for any plastic pistols except Glocks.

My wife wanted to visit a few stitching shops so we went out. I stopped at a well known shop that usually has pretty decent prices . They had the Echelon and had it priced at $689. That is just tooooooo much for a plastic striker in my opinion. It's handles well and trigger feels good and reset is good but it's not a $689 gun. That is darn near H&K prices.
That’s darn near slightly used Springfield 1911 prices.

Looks like Springfield introduced their version of the 320 tonight.

If you haven’t been to the Fairgrounds in a while it’s not nearly as big as it once was. I went last year for the first time since 2019 and everything on the hill is now a soccer stadium, a parking garage and they were building apartments or condos. The flea market is now just on the lower end in a building and there is a covered outdoor section. There were no metal detectors.
