Gunsmith Recommendation for 100 y/o rifle and shotgun

Recommended Posts

I have two antique firearms that I would like to see back in firing condition if possible and I am looking for a gunsmith that would have experience with antique fire arms. I have a Stevens Model 17 1894 .22 rifle that as far as I can tell was manufactured between 1904-1914 that needs some significant work. Significant being firing pin and general looseness of the rifle.

I also have an Ithaca Flues SxS 20ga that is in fairly good shape. The only issue is a firing spring issue with one barrel. Only one barrel fires. I have no interest in ever selling these guns as they have always been in my family. But it would be nice to have them in bring condition so my children could use guns used by their ancestors.

If anyone knows of a good gunsmith who would be up to the task please let me know.
