...and the other students in her class who completed their NRA Basic Pistol/TN Carry Permit class with us today in Gallatin. RedHead showed that she chose well when she decided on a 1911 -she acquitted herself very well!

I'm very proud of her!

She was the only one shooting .45, and she did just as well as everybody else :shhh: She chewed a nice little hole out of the bulls-eye at close range, and was very consistent even out at 15yd!

We'll be getting her some good replacement sights, probably some XS Big Dot, or the like... And, of course, some pink grips...

Good job sweetie :D

Good choice on the sights, but I would leave the furniture color up to those with better fashion sense! :shhh:

Great seeing you guys, and thanks again for the Mrs. Winner's. I was talking to someone about the virtues of open vs concealed carry at the gun show on Sunday (ProGunInTN I think) and brought up the Mrs. Winner's story.

Heh... yeah, that was more of a non-event, but the situation was humorous just because of the pro vs. con discussion, and the looks on their faces...
