Where can I go shoot??

I live in Memphis and have been trying to find a place close by to shoot at clay targets. I have a friend with access to a little land about 45-50 minutes from here and there is the Grand casino in Tunica, but both of these are to far to drive regularly and the casino is just too expensive. Can anyone suggest anywhere closer? I know this is not an easy question to answer, I just thought some might know of somewhere closer that would be a reasonable place to go.

I appreciate the suggestion, but I am trying to find an open field or maybe a vacant lot somewhere out of town where a friend and I might be able to go and shoot without disturbing or endangering anyone.

I think I just need to find out which ones of my buddies has property somewhere out of town. Is the shooting range and etcetera at Shelby Farms still closed down?
