Hey guys I happened to be in Clinton yesterday picking up a tiller and had the piece of mind to stop into Wally World check out their ammo stock. They do have a sign that says max 6 boxes per day per customer.

But here is what they had that I can remember

  • 357 sig (only a few boxes)
  • 357 mag (High dollar stuff)
  • 40 s&W (WWB)
  • 25 auto(WWB - about 8 - 10 boxes)
  • 308 (very limited)
  • 30.06
  • 7.62x39 (suprisingly about 15- 20rnd boxes)
  • .223 (I think was Remington and not very many)
  • 22 (no bricks -high $$ stuff)
  • and shotgun shells up the wazoo.

I resisted stockpiling at first but seems like I am not going to be able to purchase ammo as needed when I shoot so i've since joined the ranks of hoarding the stuff I shoot in volume.

They have some 100count boxes of 9mm FMJ, one box of Blazer 9mm and several bricks of 22LR left. I think there might be some 223. I bought three 50 count boxes the other day and bought the 9 and 22 this morning.

If you check Wal-Marts from time to time, they have ammo. You are limited to 6 boxes of ammunition per purchase however. I am patient enough to visit when I can and get what I can because the prices are a little more reasonable then some of what these on line companies are charging. Especially since my spouse works for Wally and I have the 10% discount card.

Best of luck to all of you in getting ammuntion right now.
