Shipping an 1884 vintage Colt SAA?

Those of you who have experience with this and keep up with all the laws, it's still okay to ship an 1884 vintage Colt SAA like a loaf of bread, right?

I toy with the idea of selling one of my 1st Generation Colts every couple of years on Gunbroker but never do it. I think I might list one, but I want to be sure I don't break any laws.

What states would you advise I not agree to ship/sell to, or would it matter with this old Colt SAA?

Thanks,

Hickok

It is okay to ship this gun without an FFL recipient as the gun is an antique. However I would use UPS or FEDX. Local gun laws vary greatly. When I place on GB I make a requirement that the purchaser know and understand their gun laws. If in doubt, require that it go to their local FFL. I don't ship to NJ, CA, DC, NYC or Chicago just on principal, but that's probably not a good reason to avoid sales to those locations.
