Today I made the call to check the status of my application at a day short of 4 weeks and was told that it was issued on Sept 11 (last Friday). How long does it generally take from issued to receipt?

Thanks

I took me about a total of 3mo to get it! Patience is key in this one!

The waiting game continues....

My wife was issued an original permit in about 4 weeks.

I sent the renewal for mine in the middle of May. After 12 weeks I called, spoke to a very polite lady and she told me to expect it in 10-14 days. I got the distinct impression she issued it because I called. Apparently she only had to OK it on the computer.

So it may behoove you to call and check.

I called 21 days after fingerprints and was told it was ready to be issued and should receive it in 10-14 days. I got it 13 days after that. So if yours has already been issued then I would expect you to get it a little sooner than that.
