Smith and Wesson Model 2 'Old Army' worth and help?

Recommended Posts

I have a SW 'Old Army' Model 2 that has been hanging in the safe with lots of new friends. Can anyone tell me more about it's condition and value? I have no attachment and would sell/trade it if I felt that I was being treated fairly and had a pretty good idea of it's worth.

It seems to function well and all the parts move and work. It's serial number is 10449, so it was during the Civil War era. Any info or reputable dealer help would be appreciated. Ihave posted a similar question on the Smith and Wesson forum.

Thanks

Rick
