A day at the range

Recommended Posts

So I had to go try out my new to me Springfield Range Officer 1911. I wish the pics could've turned out better.

It was even better than I could ever expect with the only drawback being the sights on it not having any dots whatsoever. So with me having to wear glasses anyways and the bad sights, this is what I did at 15 ft. Disregard the hole at top.

Had a little scare when a round failed to come out from the chambered after being fired. Turned out the girlfriend accidentally loaded one .40 round and it fired and the case expanded in the chamber. It came out ok by rodding it and nothing got hurt thank goodness.

Here are what we took to play with.

Left to right. Springfield 1911 Range Officer that I just got last week, XD-40, XD-9, and Ruger LCP 380.

While girlfriend was shooting, the cable broke and target fell to the ground. LOL Wasn't her fault though it just came loose from where it was mounted.
