According to the c-products guy, the 30 round mags in 7.62x39 are shipping to his OEM's.

Anybody have one? Does it work?

I'll wait and see, like i usually do...but I see a 7.62x39 upper on the horizon.

I had a 7.62 upper a few years ago. In my experience I never had good reliability if I loaded more than ten rounds at a time. I tried 20 and 30 round mags both were unreliable with more than 10 rounds loaded. Needless to say I dont own this upper any longer.

To update this, i just scored a 16" 7.62x39 upper from J&T. Looks identical to my 16" 5.56 upper, but the barrel is a bit fatter and its heavier. I also scored a 500 round ammo can of golden tiger to try out...the price was right :death:

I went to 44mag.com to order some of the new spiffy 7.62x39 magazines and....backordered...ARRRRRRRRRG!

I can't win...
