Accurate 2460 in the 308 Winchester

Recommended Posts

Anybody trying 2460 in the 308? I have a pound and I am going to test it...I also have some 223 and 2520...I normally just use 760/H414, 4895 or 4064 but I won't to do these on the Dillon 550 and I want a ball powder slower than 760. I have 748 but I want to save that for the 223's and use up some of these others.

Ive used 2230 to make an excellent light load, but have not tried to take that all the way up. I think you could do it. I would say mine are about 75% of the starter load, dead on at 200 yards which is all the space I have. It burned clean and fully, might give it a try.
