Last Minute Christmas Gift Ideas

My uncle is a gun guy/hunter. The stuff he needs or may want, I definitely can't afford. Usually each year I get him some hunting gloves, hat, cheap knife, etc.

I'm usually a last minute shopper, but don't feel like going out. So, I was thinking and ended up doing a magazine subscription for him. I did Guns and Ammo (2 yrs, 24 issues was $15). I picked the current issue up at the magazine rack at the grocery store to have something to wrap. Threw in a 20 rnd pack of 7.62x39. So for just over $25, I think I got a pretty useful gift for him.

I'm thinking of doing this next year for others based on their interests, like Sports Illustrated, Field and Stream, Popular Mechanics, Food Network, etc.

Anyway, I thought it was a pretty good idea and thought I'd share for you last minute folks that have somebody hard to pick out gifts for or even looking for a last minute stocking stuffer without having to hit the mall or Wally World. It's pretty cheap and is something they'll get use out of for at least a year. Just be careful about auto-renews.
