Where I grew in Natchez, MS we had a land owner that kept his gate open for shooters. Never chased anyone off unless they were in 4 wheel drives, you know potential for tearing up his land and all. Anyone know of anywhere like this around here?

The only public places I know are Bubbling Springs and Sevier Indoor Range. There is a guy with a rifle range right above Indian Camp road that will let people shoot if they ask him but I havent been there in a couple of years and I cant remember his name or number. There is a bench set up there if you know where Im talking about. I believe he or his family live in the house next door if you want to knock.

Ok thanks Bowtie, I think I will check out Bubbling Springs. Would check the lead out but not sure if he is still around and if whoever is there would be ok when strangers come a knocking :)
