I sent my Staccato C Single Stack off to Monsoon Tactical for their Genghis Comp. I've been pleased with the way it works on it.

Sir my condolences to you and all your family. I got diagnosed four years ago with Stage IV Colon and Liver Cancer that is unoperational do to the placement of the tumor. It was a shock to get that, and they gave me 5yrs, and I'm at that point now. I made my peace with God awhile ago, and I've accepted my diagnosed condition, it's not what I wanted but it is what it is. I came home and started gathering up my thoughts, and writing them down. I then made an appointment with Cole&Garret, met with a vert nice gentleman and discussed why I was there. I made all my arrangements and paid for everything up front to save my wife the extra burden of having to do that at the time that's coming. So far I've had 112 Chemotherapy Treatments over the time, and everything is holding so far. Take care sir, and remember the good times you two enjoyed over the years, and reflect on the good ones.

It's funny, everytime I start to read the threads there always seems to be Forsale add's that are posted in the wrong section.

Sent you a PM. If your going to start collecting the pre lock Smith and Wessons here's a book that has a bunch of info. That way you can read up on the models and it has dates and info on the older ones to some of the new ones.

S&W charges $100 for the "letter" it will tell you what year it was made, and should give a history of were it was shipped to. If you want to have them do the search for you, I believe I have a copy of the paperwork you'll need to fill out, just PM if you can and I can send it to you in email form to print out. You also need to see if you can find a set of orginal wood grips for it.

The dismantling of the NFA will never happen, it's a useless tax but once they start to get the revenue it's like anything else when it comes to taxes and money. I feel it's an outdated rule, you should be able to buy them just like any other regular gun, fill out the dealer paperwork and pass the background check and walk out just like any other gun purchase. I'd be willing to pay for the stamp right then and there if you could do it like any other gun purchase, the only thing is if you decide to sell it to an individual like the classifieds, then I do believe you should go through a FFL Dealer to do so. Just my $.02.

Thanks guys, he does a great job. I've had him make me several knives over the years, from large to small. I'll get them all gathered up and post some pictures of them and some of the custom sheaths that I had Eagle Creek Gunleather make for some of the larger ones.

@Grand Torino sent me a PM a couple of weeks ago about a Bowie Knife he was finishing up and thought I would be interested in it since I like the big blades. Got it sometime last week and thought I'd post a couple of pictures of it.

Well I snagged a brand new HK G36 BETA C-MAG last week for a heck of a deal. The only thing is I'll have to change out the Tommy Built AR Style MagWell for a HK G36 MagWell but I found one and it will be here Friday. I'll install it and the G36 Mag release and see if it will work or if I need to do a little fitting. I also got a HK Case for it, it fits great when the stock is folded.
