  1. highly illegal, and not something most want to do, due to the consequences if you get caught
  2. im going to assume this was before the BATFE got involved in that sort of thing....
  3. maybe you're referring to NFA/Class 3 parts. in that case, any sound suppressor, barrell/upper shorter than 16", grenade launcher, the 870 shotgun attachment, or tri-burst or full auto trigger assembly requires all paperwork for any Class 3 weapon
  4. ive been to terry waldens once, just got to be too cold outside to be doing any shooting lately. i may take you up on the offer when it gets warmer. what size is it? service or tactical? btw, do you know of any indoor shooting ranges closer than murfreesboro?
  5. I am a residential construction electrician. I know how to make your house catch on fire, and it look like an accident:D j/k
  6. not sure on the rifle, but i would think a 243, 270, 30-06, or 308 would be the cartridges to look for. im sure you know that used will be the best bet
  7. thanks guys. also want to say that when i first found this site i saw an ad for Hero Gear in winchester, which is where i grew up. went down there and i have to say that is one of the best gun shops i have been to, i am looking forward to doing business down there
  8. what would my choices be should i choose get a pistol in .357 sig? would be for concealed carry and would like a 4" barrell or shorter. XD service size or smaller so far i have : Springfield XD S&W M&P GLOCK maybe some older H&K USPs Sig Sauer (edited) any others? this cartridge intrigues me to be a great CCW platform. even though it is not very popular
  9. i found this site a while back and ive been lurking for a while. decided to finally join. good to see a forum dedicated to us TN gun owners
