  1. I went back to my treo 680 for fun one day, after having android for 2 years, and almost threw the treo out the window out of frustration.
  2. I definitely check out his videos to see what he says about guns. Haven't checked any of the radio shows yet.
  3. Congrats! I was up there today. The older guys up there are awesome to deal with.
  4. I'm looking at getting the Walther PPS for my everyday carry. I figure since I have the P22 it wouldn't be a bad idea to have nearly identical plinking and EDC guns. My friend in AZ just bought a PPS and he loves it. He can shoot incredibly accurately even at 25 yards. I've thought about the Keltec PF9 just because a dealer around here has them for about $250, but boy do they look like poo. It still might be my first EDC just because of price. Care to share your dislikes with the M&P9c?
  5. I gotta give it up to Shooters Depot in Chatt as well. Honestly, they *almost* never had me as a customer. The young kid/guy in their was a dick the first time I went in, super cocky, and acted like I was wasting his time asking questions, I AM a noob though. I was looking for a Walther P22 and the shop up 75 a little ways had a great price, but none in stock. I called Shooters Depot and they said they'd match the price so I gave them a second chance, and I'm glad I did. Everyone else in that store has been awesome. I was in their today and they told me to bring up my grandpa's guns and they'd help me appraise them. Hopefully I can work out a trade for a Walther PPS or S&W M&P 9c.
  6. I've loved all my HTC phones, currently have the MyTouch 4g rooted running CM7.
  7. The video posted showed me my stance is wrong. Can't wait to go back out and try a few things. Thanks for posting it.
  8. Thanks for the info so far guys. If anyone else has any input I'd be glad to hear it.
  9. I recently acquired some of my grandpa's guns from his estate. He was perpetually buying, selling, and trading guns his whole life right up until he passed. What I know about these is very limited, but so far I've found they are both made, or imported, by Norinco and are Chinese. The one without the bayonet appears to be numbers matching, but there are no numbers on the stock. It also appears to take an AK magazine, but not sure. The one with the bayonet numbers match except for the trigger guard. What say you?
  10. There's a place just north of Chattanooga (Ooltewah), off of I-75, that does the first transfer for I think $40ish and then $10 each after that. Sounds like he used to be a gun shop that closed, but still does transfers.
  11. LOL@Dave. I wasn't aware you could still buy Stroh's.
  12. My old supervisor was also a youth minister and the biggest "hot head" i've ever known.
  13. I'm a total GM and sports car guy, but those trucks are badass. That being said I'll take my 30mpg hwy.
  14. All good info. I used cdljobs.com to apply to a ton of places, con-way included. I have no qualms about putting in my low man on the scrotum pole time. I don't have any attachments or obligations, I'd just prefer to only be outa couple weeks at a time and have a few days off and then back at it.
  15. I'm not too worried about that. Car is hard to see in (corvette and tinted windows), probably would see the grip only if you walked up and stuck your head in the window. Black gun, black interior, black holster. I've had a trooper say he doesn't care if he comes up and it's laying on the seat. He'll ask about it and go from there. He also said if he doesn't ask if you have a gun, don't tell him you do.
  16. I'm currently going through the CDL program at Chattanooga State and graduate 8/12. Any tips, tricks, or things (companies) to watch out for?
  17. Proud C5Z06 owner here, oh and I still have what used to be a turbo 03 Cavalier.
  18. Thank you for the correction on verbiage. I generically called it concealed because I have no intention of open carry, aside from possibly sticking the gun between the seat and center console while driving, but even then I don't know. Thank you for all the links everyone. I now see it's pretty pointless unless I get an out of state FL permit for WA. I'm trying to stay regional with my job so I'm hoping the NE isn't going to be an issue. True that, it'll be exhausting. Truly useful! Thanks.
  19. First off, thanks for having me here. I don't have my conceal permit...yet, but I'll probably be taking the class here in the next few weeks. It's very likely soon I'll be all over the US for work and plan on carrying. What's the best combination of conceal permits to carry in combination with a TN permit to cover the maximum number of states? Is it even necessary to carry more than TN? I did some searching here but didn't come up with anything.
