  1. oddly enough im curently looking for a full sized 9mm myself .. but have been looking for a PMR30 for months now .. if one came up i would probably get it instead of the 9mm im currently in the market for .. i kinda gave up my search for a PMR30 though until one just shows up .. very frustrating hunt
  2. ok seems to be a pretty unanimous answer ty all for the help i figured it was probably a stupid question .. but then again the only thing worse than asking a stupid question is NOT asking so yeah lol
  3. yeah i agree she's not as skilled or well trained as shane but she seemed to be seeing things shanes way alot more than ricks lately, and could still do plenty of damage given the right scenario just by not having rick's (or his wife's or sons) back when they need it ... and if she decided on full betrayal it doesnt take alot of skill to put a bullet in the back of a persons head from 5 feet away when they think they can trust you, all she would need is the opportunity to get away with it, not that im saying that is what i expect to happen .. if she does take on the protagonist role i expect it to be in a more subtle way than shane
  4. yeah i kinda see andrea possibly taking shanes role as the protagonist now ... i honestly am surprised to see shane make it as long as he did, he just pushed rick too far too many times ... a man can only hear that "you're not man enough to protect your wife and raise your kid so im going to do it for you" BS for so long ... personally i would have left him on that bus a couple episodes ago surrounded by walkers and unarmed after he tried to kill rick
  5. i know this is legal in certain states but wondering if anyone knew if it's legal in TN or not? did a quick search and couldnt find a conclusive answer
  6. lol yeah when i first found it me and the wife kinda wore it out for a few months i think she even had it as her ringtone .. did a quick search and found this if ya wanna try it http://www.mytinyphone.com/ringtone/1285050/
  7. found this years ago .. its from a really cheesy zombie flick called dead and breakfast.. i found it hilarious so i thought some of you might get a chuckle too
  8. saw this and had to post it
  9. yeah he has some eyes and ears now but it was the first day with the new rifle and considering how quiet they are i figured no harm no foul ... but yeah i spent many years in my early teens to early twenties shooting without hearing protection myself, my hearing isnt that bad but i consider myself lucky that it isnt
  10. lol ok now i feel like a bit of a dumb ass but yeah i found it in a local shop for $269.99
  11. wait hold on it just hit me i never mentioned the actual price .. how the hell did you know? lol ... are you the dave who owns the gun shop i bought my rifle at???
  12. yeah huge fan myself .. i wish Hickock45 and Nutnfancy could be on Topshot lol ... or at least make Hickock the host
  13. yeah im already semi addicted .. i have a Ruger 22/45, Ruger SR22, Ruger 10/22, and now the Henry lever action .22, and im still seriously considering a Browning buckmark and Beretta Neos and a Ruger single ten .. honestly the only firearm i currently own other than .22's is a Glock 21 SF
  14. ok finally got a few rounds through the henry today and im impressed at the accuracy even with the CCI .22 short CB's (although shooting at 20 yards may have helped a bit lol) it is now the first gun my wife and my 5 year old son have shot other than a pellet gun ... the group on the left is 20 rounds at 20 yards ... the group on the right is 3 rounds at 20 yards that my wife shot .. not bad for her first time .. oh yeah the targets are 3" for reference edit: was actually 20 rounds total so 17 on the left and 3 on the right
  15. lol yeah something along those lines is what i was afraid of .. dont wanna piss off those old cowboys, as for the gun itself im loving it already.. and i know its been said about fifty million times but how smooth is that action?!?!?! i keep finding myself breaking it out and working the lever just to see if it REALLY felt as "right" as it did earlier or was i just crazy, i mean for the price point it cant be beat, i know the browning model is roughly twice the price, and im sure its an awesome rifle but i just cant imagine it being twice as good after handling the henry
  16. picked up the henry yesterday, ended up finding it at a local gun shop for about $20 cheaper than walmart so that covered a couple boxes of the CCI short CB's ... fired a couple off the back porch just for a test and wow they really are air gun quiet, havent shot it enough to speak on accuracy with them yet but hopefully will within the next few days .. how wrong is it that im considering putting a red dot sight on it? lol
  17. ok new question kinda lol ... been looking at different types of ammo in 22 short ... and just found out what 22 short CB's were lol ... even with no powder only primer would these still be more powerful than the higher end 1,000 FPS pellet guns? im assuming so since the advertised speed of the CCI short CB's are around 700 FPS but with a 29g bullet instead of the standard 7.9g .177 pellet .... or should i just get standard 22 shorts since they are still subsonic at around 1,000FPS and are they roughly as quiet as the CB's out of the 16.25" barrel?
  18. yup Walmart.com: Henry Repeating Arms Lever Action 22LR Rifle: Hunting
  19. was thinking of picking up an air rifle just for plinking/pest control (too many nearby neighbors) but then saw this https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/36596 at my local walmart and thought it might work for the same purpose with 22 shorts .. does anyone have experience with &/or an educated opinion on this gun? and more to the point is it as quiet as im hoping with 22 shorts (blame hickok45 for my ideas on that lol) or does the carbine length barrel negate that somewhat?
  20. yeah i feel your pain im dieing to get my hands on one too
  21. will do but i probably wont have it till middle of next week and hopefully get to try it out next weekend so im sure there's others on here who will beat me to the punch lol
  22. lol yeah i know it looks WAY similar and i have actually been tempted by the walther but heard too many stories of breakages and bad reliability to make me want to roll the dice and hope for a good one .... i just have a (misguaided?) sense of trust with ruger when it comes to rimfire reliability being the proud owner of a MkIII 22/45 and a 10-22 that function flawlessly
  23. i havent seen my owners manual yet so total heresay as of now, but i heard on some forums that on page 25 ruger claims that they will offer an aftermarket threaded barrel but it isnt in the ruger store yet (the barrel comes out with one allen head screw inside the trigger guard)
  24. i know the gun has been out less than a month but i've been drooling for one since i first saw a video review on youtube about 3 weeks ago, been calling around all the local shops for the last week but most of them didnt even know the gun existed lol ... so i log into youtube this morning and see my favorite gun reviewer hickok45 has uploaded a new video on what else but the SR22, i took it as a sign and ordered one online for $308 (good deal i thought) but watching hickok's vid he had a few FTF's where the gun seemed to fail to pick up the next round ... i've seen several other seemingly credible video reviews claiming to have shot every kind of bulk elcheapo ammo they could find and couldnt get the gun to malfunction for trying to, so im hoping hickok's T&E SR22 is the exception to the rule (then again he was running tracers through it so maybe it was supremely dirty? i hear those things foul up a gun like nothing else) anyone have one of these yet? how reliable has it been and what kinds of ammo have you fed it? im loving the look of the gun and getting it in large part to get my wife shooting with me .. but im hoping for reliability along the lines of my MkIII 22/45 or am i setting the bar too high for a new gun?
