  1. I'll keep you in mind, in the event that I find myself headed that way.
  2. Here's one actual photo from this buyback. For many in this picture alone, I'd gladly give double the amount they were giving in gift cards.
  3. ***SOLD*** 168 total rounds - 148 rounds of 300 grain Mono-Metal Dangerous Game - 20 rounds of 250 Grain Barnes XPB Currently selling on their website for $79 a box ($3.95 per round) before taxes and shipping. My price is a firm $340 ($2.02 per round). Not looking for trades at this time. I'd prefer to not hassle with shipping. Located in Nashville, but travel throughout middle Tennessee during the week.
  4. I know it's been ages, but does anyone have an extra one they'd be willing to part with? Heck, I'd even take a slightly used one, if that's all I can find. I'm in Nashville, but will gladly pay shipping costs.
  5. I'll include 40 rounds of 240gr and 40 rounds of 300gr Hornady ammo if that'll help make a deal.
  6. Yes. I'll need to do some digging after work this evening. Don't quote me, but I think I have 80 - 100 rounds.
  7. ***PRICE DROP*** Ruger Super Redhawk .454 Casull Made in 2000 in the highly desirable “Target Grey”. 7 1/2” barrel This gun is not a safe queen but it is in very good shape for it’s age. The trigger has been smoothed and polished, which makes for a very comfortable pull. It also has the Hamilton Bowen extended length firing pin installed. Appx .020 removed from the trigger face for additional primer detonation reliability. Trigger Shims installed on the hammer, trigger & the hammer dog. Cylinder Shims also installed to reduce end shake. Barrel to cylinder gap is tight. The hammer strut mainspring has been replaced just out of caution due to it’s age. HIVIZ LITEWAVE front sight. This creates a very nice sight picture with the factory rear sight. Installed is a Hogue recoil absorbing grip and I’m also including the factory grip. The included OEM scope rings look mint. The OEM firing pin and front sight are also included. I’m including the OEM case and instruction manual. Also included is a basically new Gunfighters Inc Kenai Holster. Round count is less than 50. It has some minor scratches due to the firing pin install, some minor holster presentation scratches. Very nice condition for being 22 years old. I'll include 40 rounds of 240gr and 40 rounds of 300gr Hornady ammo. Located in Nashville, but travel throughout middle Tennessee for work. If you're interested, I may be in your area soon. $1200. Not interested in trades at this time. More pictures in comments.
  8. I managed to find one at a store just 1.3 miles from my house. I couldn't believe it.
  9. FOUND WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR! I know there are several wine and spirit connoisseurs in the house, so I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I'm looking for a bottle of Angel's Envy Cask Strength to buy as a gift for our pastor who's going to marry my fiancé and me. I know it's a long-shot. Thank you in advance for any possible assistance.
  10. I need a 3x9x40 scope for a .270 hunting rifle. My budget is $150. Which one would you recommend! Seen any on Black Friday lists? Thank you in advance.
  11. I'm thinking about purchasing a T/C Compass in .270, as I finally have an opportunity to get into deer hunting. The reviews seem pretty good, especially for a $200 (after rebates at Academy) rifle, but I wanted to see if anyone here had firsthand experience with 'em.
  12. Don't think I didn't think about it. But I decided to settle on the boring 'ol pickemup truck.
  13. After dealing with a few of life's curveballs, I've decided to take a last minute, week or so long, solo trip to Maine. It's somewhere I've always wanted to visit. The fact that the temps are a bit cooler is a huge plus. I'm really hoping for some good seafood, too. I plan on being in Maine for three or four day, pitching a tent, hopefully somewhere with shower access. I have very little planned out. As of right now, I'm thinking about not staying in any one area for more than a day. Possibly two, if I really like the area. Does anyone have suggestions in the way of restaurants, campgrounds, places worth checking out the sights, etc.? I'm almost totally "winging it", so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  14. An area needs to be leveled that will be used to place two shipping containers. I'm sort of assuming the fill will need to consist mostly of rock, if not all. I'm guessing the fill will need to be 5' - 6' deep at its deepest point. The "level" part of the existing ground is actually sloped more to wards the drop-off than the drawing depicts. If I had to guess, the fill area will be roughly 30' or so wide. As you can see in my crappy drawing, at the right side of the area is a drop-off. If building a retaining wall to hold the rock in place at the edge of the drop-off isn't necessary, that would be a huge plus. As we've all seen many times where rock is used to fill/level an area for a structure, parking lot, etc., the rock gradually slopes, keeping the rock in place and safe(r) from erosion. My question is this: Is there a general rule of thumb as to how much of a slope and how far the rock need to extend past the leveled fill area? I hope that makes sense. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
  15. My boss and I are going to look at some property that is mostly only accessible by ATV. Does anyone know if there's somewhere in the Nashville area where we can rent a couple of ATV's or Gator for a day?
