Thanks for the info, guys. I really need/want a set of BUIS, but I think I'm gonna try my best to wait for these. Based on the pictures in this thread, they look to be slightly more "bulky" that I'd like, but it's somewhat difficult to tell in the pictures. I'm still leaning towards the Troy BUIS, for double the price.

That was my first thought, too. Ob the other hand, Magpul generally doesn't allow less than par products out of their factory. From my experiences anyway.

Well, I think that's less than a month out, so I think I'll hold off on BUIS until I hear more about those. Thanks.

Sounds like an interesting idea, but turning a regular staircase into one which a section can be lifted is no easy task, and not likely one that can be done in one day.

I understand your frustrations, but you'll just have to be patient with them. I'm sure they are doing the best they can. Just about every company who's dealing with firearms related merchandise has been experiencing the very same issues over the last several weeks. They are simply overwhelmed right now. You can thank Obama for all of this.

It could have easily been nothing more than a coincidence, but my truck quit running about 7-10 miles after filling up yesterday. After filling up, I drove straight to Jiffy Lube for an oil change. The truck was running perfectly until they began pulling it into the bay. It would stay running with starting fluid or beating on the bottom of the fuel tank while starting the truck. As soon as I quit beating the tank, the truck would die. It's now in the shop getting a new fuel pump. I replaced the pump about 4 years ago, so I'm not sure if it's gone bad again, or I managed to pick up a bunch of water and/or trash along the way. Whatever it is, I'm so happy this happened 2 weeks before Christmas. The timing couldn't be better.

Since I can't find out what kind of BUIS this is, does anyone what a fair price for this would be. I'm probably looking to sell or trade it, but want to make sure it's fair on both ends. Thanks.

Congrats! As far as BUIS go, after looking at all the options out there, I like the Troy's (about $250 for the pair) the best. That's what I'm going with, and they're going on a very similar platform as you have there. Look around at all the options, because you may find something you like better.

All the TALO's I've seen were about $600
