  1. I bet you are. I've been looking for another woman to join my girlfriend. For the HCP that is. I figured she'd have a better time and feel more comfortable if she had someone to go with.
  2. Congrats! Yep, the first few trips outdoors with the HCP is a little weird. Before you know it, you'll feel weird without it. I'm sure Allan will have his in no time. I turned in my paperwork 3 or 4 days after a friend of mine, and mine came in a week before his. I'm not sure how they justify that, but it wasn't long after. Maybe they have a feeling that he's one of those rouge grease monkeys.
  3. And the correct answer is................. With that being said I'll be in that Brentwood/Franklin area to pick up a gun case, so I'll really have no choice but to stop by the show.
  4. The wife. She's not only gorgeous, but also thoughful enough to bring home a year long range pass. Any sister?
  5. WOW! You're one lucky man. Enjoy!
  6. The wife holding the certificate.
  7. You'll not find them for that price on a regualr basis. I thought about buying one myself, but my hands are far too big for the grip. If you really like it, go back. Also, you could check out the EMP. They are more expensive, but very similar to the Kimber. You can get a 9mm, .40, or the .45. Sweet little gun.
  8. Looks nice. I actually prefer the matte finish. Good job.
  9. I understand what you're saying. So, if "someone" is reading this, and has the impression that I'm somehow involved in a "straw purchase", that is incorrect. As I stated in a previous post, I asked the store owner to order this firearm for me, and because I'm a man of my word, I didn't feel like backing out on the deal would have been the right decision. So, here I am with a XD(M) that honestly, I could live without at this time. If I could find a trade (with another person who's legally allowed to own a firearm, of course) that would suit my needs/wants, I would go that route. If not, I'll keep it. Maybe, being one of the first 5000 sold, one day it will be worth a trillion-zillion dollars. And I could finally retire. Thanks again, Tunggy!

  11. That reminds me of another great song. [ame] [/ame]
  12. Haven't y'all made up my mind yet? Is OC a good or bad idea?
  13. Boston Legal. One of my favorite shows, ever. If Denny is going to be our President, then Alan Shore is a must have for the VP. Those two are a great match on the show.
  14. LOL...It's no problem. Just givin' you a hard time.
  15. Nice. I wish I would have known about that. That's a killer deal.
  16. My thoughs, exactly. SA throws in the allen wrench for adjusting the gear, so I assumed they would have done the same for the backstrap pin. I don;t have a punch set, so I'm trying to find out if anyone knows the correct size needed. The XD(M) manual says to use the "correct" punch, but never mentions what the "correct" punch is.
  17. You'll likely need the correct sized punch, just like I'll need with the XD(M). I tried a small screwdriver, but that pin wasn't moving. I tapped pretty darn hard, and it still wasn't moving. I gave up until I get the correct punch.
  18. Thanks for the word of caution, Tungsten. I did think about that, but I thought a "straw purchase" was buying a firearm for someone who was not legally allowed to own a gun. That not being the case, I didn't see an issue. How long would you suggest I hold on to it before a possible trade? Thanks again.
  19. WWB Hollow Point. I'f I can't stop and/or kill someone with those, I probably shouldn't be carrying a firearm.
  20. Do they ever get the weapons back?
  21. LMAO! Shux....That was the first thing that came to mind. It could be worse. It that's the worst thing she does, you'll be alright.
  22. Not having the chance to shoot it, it's somewhat difficult to tell. Simply dry firing it, it does seem improved. I can tell there is less travel, and much crisper.
  23. Not that I really want to, but one never knows what may come along.
  24. +1 Great guy and movie. kwikipoo, not so much.
