  1. I see. Thanks for the clarification. Be sure to keep us posted on your results. I'll join in on my progress once my DVDs arrive. I've already got everything else I'll need.
  2. Does that mean on the 6th day, then take the 7th day off, or you can choose to stretch OR take the day off for the 7th day?

    Mexican 300!

The best comedy is always reality!
  4. +1 to that! Penn and Teller are awesome. I loved the show "Bullsh*t". I remember one episode where they dealt with hardcore environmentalists, and exposed them as extremely undereducated about their very own claims. They even went to a green earth festival and compiled several hundred signatures to keep "Dihydrogen Monoxide" out of our waterways, and foods... Yeah, "Dihydrogen Monoxide" is water...

  6. I shopped around craigslist too, no one that had it wanted to do a FTF, paypal and then they shipped... gotta be a scam.
  7. That's the reason I'm looking to get into P90X. There is a group or two in Nashville that does Crossfit, but I can't really make it work with my schedule currently. What is a good idea of the time constraints of P90X? I've figured 1-1.5hrs a day.
  8. Awesome! I've been wanting to get started myself, but lay-offs happen
  9. Thought I'd bump this thread to see how peoples training was coming. I slacked off big time, but I've been going strong on weight training for almost a month now. I've decided I want to give P90X a shot, so has anyone here that has tried it reaped it's rewards yet? Anybody tried out CrosFit?
  10. What do they make you carry Todd? Just curious as to what dept that aren't issuing Glocks ARE issuing.
  11. Yeah, definitely a long shot. Not to mention the fact that if you were to be drafted at the age of 24, it would mean the US was in a serious world of hurt. They would go for the 18-20yr olds first.
  12. Woody Harrelson claims he mistook photographer for zombie - CNN.com
  13. I'm not a fan of the 40SW cartridge (gimme 9mm or .45 anyday), but I love the form factor of the G19 and G23.
  14. For a minimalist, non-descriptive list: 1 AR 1 AK 1 12 Gauge Shotgun w/ 18.x" barrel 2 Handguns, one 9mm, one .45 1 Bolt Action Precision Rifle, preferably in either 30-06 or .308
  15. I bet I know what the "Db" at the end of your post stands for...
  16. Just in case anyone else was wondering what the Hera conversion looked like (had to google it myself): Looks like the ultimate addition to a bug out bag
  17. I'd say go check out an artist, look at their books, then tell them some of your ideas and have them draw something up for you. Some artists charge for doing a design on paper for you, some don't. If they don't charge, throw them at least a $20. If they do, throw them a little something extra on top of their fee. They WILL remember you took care of them (much like a waiter/waitress remembers), and in turn, WILL take extra care of you.
  18. I've got a few friends that use Jason St. Claire, and his work is awesome. I get my work done by Mike @ Music City Tattoo, he does a lot of great Old School work. He and his wife run the shop, and his wife is an absolutely AMAZING tattoo artist. Their shop is on music row, and it's an old house converted for their biz. Their shop has a great, really personal feel to it.
  19. I know there are several fans of "the ink" around here, so I thought I'd start a generic thread for general discussion about tats. You know, a place to throw around ideas, share experiences with different artists you've used, and even show off your ink if you want. I've been getting the itch to get some more ink lately... Currently, I only have two tattoos, both of them are easily covered by clothing. I have no plans of breaking my "above the elbows, below the collar" rule. For my next piece of work, I'm considering getting something patriotic. I'm thinking maybe the coiled snake and "don't tread on me" lettering of the Gadsen Flag, but I've been thinking more about getting the "Join of Die" drawing on the inside of my bicep: While I like the way Japanese artwork looks, I tend to prefer more "old school" tattoo designs. I'm done rambling for now... it's someone else's turn.

I thought the same thing the first time I field stripped my USPc. I trust those Jerry engineers though
  21. Can't say I have any ideas as to what they might be, but I'd like to see some pics of them
  22. I really liked the "Answers to Common Criticisms" page, especially:
  23. Hasn't a Wolverine screener leaked?
