  1. "With major repairs I'm hesitant to use some smaller shops that may due just fine, buy I prefer a nice well presented shop, and that's what I found at A&I. But in the end I may end up paying more for the same job." Thats the reason I asked here. This is a good bunch of people.
  2. Dang thats a huge difference in price. Major prob = white smoke out exhaust and burning 1 qt of oil per 200 miles.
  3. Did you have major work done to your car ?
  4. Thanks I appreciate the information.
  5. Yeah Any info would be welcome. Thanks
  6. Anybody know a good mechanic that works on Volkswagens. I have a 2001 Diesel Jetta that may need piston rings. As close to Elizabethton,Tn as possible. Thanks
  7. I'll start workin on how to open that manual. No rust on it.
  8. Ok Dont have the dummy rounds. It only seems to wind about 6 inches. So I guess its just about useless as is. Thanks for the info.
  9. No winding knob. It has a half butterfly handle on the back that lowers the follower back down into the drum. The follower looks sort of like a round but only comes up to within 2 inches of the top of the mag. Yes it looks exactly like those.
  10. A friend of mine has a 100 ? round drum magazine made by Firepower Inc of Hancock, Maine. Neither one of us knows anything about these mags. Not much on the web about them at all. Would like to know how to load and repair them. We don't even know if this thing works. Any info would be great. It is a round metal drum with a clear plastic cover on one side. Out of the top center is what looks like a 5 round regular Ar mag.
  11. Try a small hook and some corn. Best thing is if you get hungry its ok to eat the bait.
