  1. What range are you talking about, Fugate's?

Yeah, I try to make frequent trips to Chattanooga though for ammo at GTs, unfortunately they have been closed the last few times I was down there to see friends and family. Their 9mm duty ammo has been scarce, lots of 40 duty ammo though and most of their 40 ammo is cheaper than 9mm ammo.
  2. If you are talking about Atlanta's old M&P's they look pretty bad but they had those for 5 years. By the time I got some money and went to GT's they had all been picked through. They had a few 40 compacts but they were even worse, such as in a way they had sat in the armory and rusted. I am going to hold out and buy one of the law enforcement trade in Glock 37's they will be getting.
  3. Oh, yeah the M&P 45c does feel great. I have yet to shoot one but they feel better to me than a Glock 21/30 after handling a Glock 23 all day. My familiarity of Glocks in 9 and 40 has what has ruined me on Glocks in 21/30. After years and 10k rounds through Glocks in 9 and 40 the 30 feels odd to me but a M&P45c doesn't.

The new Glock 41 will be a 21 frame with a thin slide like the 30s. It should be a hit weighing less than a regular Glock 21.
  4. Yeah, that's kind of a let down.

A bigger letdown than the last "Big News from Glock". Well, the M&P Shield demand just went back up because all of those people waiting for the single stack Glock.

The Glock 36 had Many problems, mostly in the begining, that somehow went away.

Friends mourned Ward on Twitter over the weekend. He was a student at Ridgeland High School.

"Imma miss him so much," writes @shermanyb_ on Twitter.

Ward was charged in another robbery case in October 2012. He was expected to go to trial in March on charges of aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery and theft of property, court records show.
Ward and another homicide victim from this year, 16-year-old Lamunta Williams, allegedly committed a home invasion-style robbery at a home on East 18th Street wearing bandannas. They repeatedly beat the victims before stealing two guns, a TV, an Xbox and $150 in cash, according to police.

Williams was picked out of the lineup by one of the victims. Five months after the October robbery, he was shot and killed in an abandoned house a couple of blocks from the Howard School during the school day where he was supposed to be in class.

When police searched Ward's phone, they found pictures of him posing with one of the stolen guns and another picture documenting the serial number. Both pictures were taken the day of the robbery.

Ward's death marks the 18th homicide of the year. In all of 2012, there were 24.
  8. The only thing you really need to change on a Glock pistol are the sites. After that maybe the magazine release and the slide release if the size of your hands dictates the need for such a change - any changes after that and you're really just looking for a place for a malfunction to happen.
    .

I would argue that the extended slide release is asking for a problem as well.
Change the sights if you wish but leave Glocks the way they come.

  9. I have been reading for weeks now and what few issues I read of from the Shield seem to be all 9mm versions except for the very early 40magazine drops. Has anyone experienced any issues with the 40's other than the early reports of magazines falling out?
