wow,absolutely horrible... i laughed so hard that i almost sprayed coffee all over my keyboard.......i think we saw that guy on a you tube video w fps Russia guy was chasing him w a flaming roman candle or something.Next time I open photoshop ill have a new base photo to do paste up stuff on lol anyhow,here's the point,again, when someone offers something for 1 price, and you show up, and get hit w another it gets a little annoying.I understand the value of a 5000 dollar 1911,and yeah i did see a customer walk into a sales gauntlet and leave disgusted because he asked me where else he could rent and shoot w his family while i was in the parking lot of the same place... I imagine 400 may suit some,the elitist, self entitled feeling, may be warm and fuzzy but don't ask me to be a member for one fee and jack it up to another.Again same point.I think its a crummy way of doing business.Yeah the place is nice n clean,looks good for the ladies,but it was touted as a hey yall wait till we open this place your gonna love it....and it'll cost this. same thing again.  One would figure that a large high volume place would have better pricing on range use.. guess i was wrong about that.All in all ill keep my dues paid at "the holler" and the other little place that appreciates their paying customers...and maintains the good relationship most of us truly appreciate....I now know the reason the horse statue is running away from the big place towards franklin.......im poppin smoke l8tr

My point is when someone offers a somewhat fair price for something then it gets jacked up 75 bucks in less than 3 mos it gets annoying. I remember when useltons opened, I couldnt do a year at 1k either but found other sources.I also bore witness to customers fleeing the high dollar range when they went in asking to shoot for the first time and started getting racked into buying a 5 k dollar 1911. Useltons shop is closed.. they had,(past tense) the nicest range..but pricing and Cust svc ran everyone off. Relief is a wonderful thing...bait n jack isn't.

Your right theres nothing that says I have to shoot there. 2 months ago there wasn't much room for profit on new gun sales. But now the prices are above map and retail.w every black rifle gone, W supplies at an all time low. Enjoying firearms should be affordable.I was told ranges are built to support the shop and vice versa. I understand operating for a profit,vs turning something into a neccessary evil. Funny how people get mad at cops for writing tickets but bitch when theres not enough cops to catch the guy that victimized them....If I owned a range and store that just sold more in two weeks than they normally would all year , I'd think hard about what I would do to keep my customers and not drive em away after the sales blitz

I don't know what the exact law is w regard to organizations,but, I understand a non profit not collecting tax, but being taxed to prepay shooting on a range I don't get. Either way am I supposed to believe I'm taxed on breathing powder filled air ? or am I paying tax for taking up size 12 shoe filled real estate for 1 hourvor less. Either way 400 bucks is a big hit. I've seen guys bitch like hell near tantrum about paying a buck more for their annual box of ammo. Other ranges within 50 miles of nashvegas are at half of that....400 for a year makes as much sense as paying 50 bucks for a pmag....ptooey..

I have other paid memberships in TN where we don't pay tax.....hint 16 lanes...w full retail priced stock.

If you buy a membership to a club,or in this case a range,when did it become taxable????over 400 bucks for one year...I passed That's just insane.and u know where I went....pissed me off like these shops aren't cleaning house already w high prices and more. There is a way to fund school resource officers.Its called non violent offender monitoring.It can save a county 1.5 million per year when used effectively.

interesting stats.remember where they come from.Our old chief in nashville used to call home invasions burglaries,even when a homicide occurred,and would report this to the "system" as a burglary to minimize the severity of it.Stats can be very misleading.We have our fair share of thugs.They do go down,get locked up and more.At least in TN everyone can fight back and we dont have to rely on an idiot like bloomberg who will swear his police will find out "who did this". I love living here,TN is an awesome state.We have people who really care and attempt to maintain real traditional values, along with saying grace and maam and i love my 1911.we live here,other states one can barely survive due to bureaucratic bs. amazingly enough people flock here from other states as companies moving here get tax breaks,and IMPORT their out of state employees leaving floor sweeping jobs for locals.Thats the hidden statistic..the crime rate dropped in maury co once the saturn plant closed,why? some of the heathens went back to michigan.....wheres that stat....Our schools need money but the lottery funds allow foreign students to attend vanderbilt for free.Our kids that do  graduate have to fight to get the jobs the california companies bring in for their imported workers. i could go on and on but i take stats w a grain of salt as its about how they got em and who contributed.Ask any metro cop about stat reports....guarantee youll get a headshake and a smile or laugh

Being a 40 shooter i kinda keep am eye on ammo when I m out n about.Am also keeping in mind that 40 ammo runs hot and cold in supply.

Today's ammo watch: Outpost Armory near the boro has a bunch of 40 sw ammo as well as small boxed c carry ammo on hand as of 6 pm today.No magazines period except for select pistol mags.back wall w black rifles looks like a white peg board.about 10 50's on the counter. reloading supplies are fine but will diminish due to demand. There was roughly 50K rounds left in 1000 and 500 round cases.     I figured I'd start this thread so regular and mobile users could find COTS ammo based on member reports. title your post w ammo watch and the caliber you found. This is all part of the forum contingency plan to help deal w ammo shortages until the light shines at the end of the hole.   hope this helps 

We HAD school resource officers in Davidson county.Once the money ran out so did the school cops.the school cop thing worked. Thinking more about this,if the media would black out the personal info, goals and or messages these sh*t bags, have, that engage in these "i want attention" killings,maybe these turds will go away with the mindset that no one gives a rats ass if they take life. The one pulling the switch or the one injecting them with fluid to make their lives stop should be the only ones who care as they have successfully solved the problem of fixing a bad irreparable case of stupid....... We can speculate all day but i truly wish the media would not embellish these tragedies.The ill minds that commit these heinous acts thrive on attention received during their last grandstanded act. These shootings have been nothing but food for tyrants with mental issues. One of the best ways to get confessions on acts similar to these is to tell the shooter( if they live long enough) that no one will know anything about what they did and it will be covered up to where all will believe the shooter will die in jail best known as a child rapist........its at this point they spew enough confession material as to where the jury can self induce coma and deliver a 30 second verdict......... sad day indeed  when guns are outlawed only outlaws will have guns Ezekiel 25:17 Path of the righteous man, fabricated but true.....
