While good news, the next nominee, will likely be just as bad or worse. Need to continue the fight!
Exactly what I was thinking as well.

Bump. Make me an offer.
Man I can’t believe this scope lasted this long. Figured it’d be gone in a day or two.

That looks like the exit hole. DRT! What round are you using? That is a good looking pelt...no mange.
Yeah I was really surprised at how healthy his coat was. It was the first thing I told my buddy when we walked up to it. That was a 6.5 Creed 143 grain Hornady ELD-X.

The one you are lifting looks big. Did you weigh any of them?
No, I didn’t weight them but he was a pretty good sized coyote. He’d been eating good for sure and was healthy.

Nice yote. What 2 rifles do you have there?
Thank you! The bolt action is a Savage 110 Tactical in 6.5 Creed with 6-24x50 Vortex HST. I built the AR from a TGO Cross Machine Tool billet receiver set. Has a Geissele Mk8 rail and 18” Ballistic Advantage .223 Wylde barrel, and a Vortex PST 1-6 in an Larue Tactical QD mount. It’s an extremely accurate rifle that I built primarily for coyote hunting so it’s my go-to most of the time. I run the SilencerCo Omega can on both of them.

As far as night hunting goes, hold on to your hat.
I know, been holding it a long time. Had to stop holding my breath cause I started seeing stars
Ehhhh maybe one day someone will do or say the right thing and get it really moving. Until then, early mornings and late evenings will have to suffice until colder weather gets here. Then I’ll hammer all day after them on my days off.

$1500 of awesome. They don't feel real. My trypod is a bit heavy, but very stable especially if I use a sling with it.
I’m pretty tickled with my setup as they are now. But if TN ever passes night hunting I’ll definitely look to get a tripod.

You guys run a trypod on the coyotes?
I run a Swagger bipod on both of these rifles but if I have both out for the day I have a Bog Pod bipod that I use for the Savage. I’d like to try out one of the carbon tripods for sure though.

I work on the Range side of the new Outpost, I don't post much here, but thought I'd chime in on a couple of things and give a brief description of the range, 7-25yd lanes, rifle/pistol/shotgun, upper cal limit is .308, shotguns use slug or buck only, no hip fire. 7-15yd lanes, handgun only, 3-100 yd rifle, .50 cal max.
The only ammo restrictions are no tracers or incendiary rounds.
You CAN shoot reloads, steel case, steel core, green tip, etc.
Not part of any other range, Barrett owns the store and range.
Cant speak on the reloading section of the store, I stick to the range side as an Instructor/RSO. You guys are welcome to come check it out and if Im not tied up I'll show you around.
Bud
Appreciate the info!

Sent $ for the Magpul's Sunday, got a pm saying "I'll shil 'em tomorrow (Monday) and send tracking info." They were (magically?) in my mailbox Monday afternoon... Only way shipping could have been faster would be if they were hand delivered. Outstanding deal!
Can’t beat that!

That's what I have heard as well. Not sure full details on it though.
The store is nice, but was super disappointed to learn they no longer carry any reloading supplies. That was the only reason I ever stopped in the old Outpost when in the area.
One of the guys told me they didn’t have any reloading stuff when I asked if he’d seen any primers come in lately. I thought he just meant they were completely sold out. Which I thought was strange because they usually had a big selection of reloading items. I didn’t realize at the time that he may have meant they have quit carrying anything for reloading. That is bad news for sure if that’s the case going forward.

I finally made it out to Murfreesboro today to check out the new location. I didn’t use the range today but probably will at some point. The layout is very nice and spread out more than it was at the old spot. Many rifles and pistols in stock and quite a few people in there buying as well. I saw quite a few small things I’d like to have but kept my self control and walked out under $20 Picked up a Magpul 20 round 5.56 magazine and a flag morale patch.
Have any of you used the range, and if so what did you think of it. I don’t know if the 100 yard lanes are open yet and probably should have asked while I was there.- 1
