  1. Howdy and Welcome to Tennesse and TGO I, too, am from a different part of the state but do like the eastern part.
  2. Closest one I know about and use is in Hopkinsville KY. Go to Hopkinsville and turn left at the 3d light, right turn will take you to Wal-Mart. Kentucky Shell Shop, 101 Hammond Drive, (270) 885-1868. Only has two lanes but nice folks. $20 per year plus $10 per hour. I do not think Clarksville political clime is friendly enough for folks to open and run a range, way too much money and rules from what I understand.
  3. Don't worry too much! Listen and do as instructed. Be safe! Congrats on taking the class.
  4. Congrats on the permit!
  5. Make him clean it up, extra homework and some detention should have been enough. The young lady in question may not be a beauty queen but how many of us are?

  13. I like Glocks but just about all modern handguns should work just fine. Try as many as possible and see which works for you. Places like Guns & Leather rents handguns and is a good way to try them out.
  14. Howdy John and Welcome to TGO
  15. Howdy Irish and Welcome to TGO
  16. Howdy and Welcome to TGO and Tennessee You do what is needed to protect yourself and others you feel you or others are in danger. Always fight to stop the attack, never to kill or wound just to stop it. If something does happen do not say anything to anyone before talking to a good defense lawyer. The law is for protection of self and others and not for protection of property or things. There is no gun registration in Tennessee and you may have and use a handgun on your own property without a permit but a permit is always good to have. Get some training and read the laws as pertains to handguns/firearms as posted above. Just my feelings and thoughts! Welcome again!
  17. Glad the lady was not injured worse than she was and yes a big #1 for her defending herself.
  18. Open carry or a lot of physical activity then I would get a holster with thumb break, i.e. motorcycle riding, hiking. If not OC'ing or doing physical activities then no thumb break, just my opinion.
