  1. If you can make it to 500 then 600+ is not that much different.

If you shoot with people that shoot to 1000+ I am sure they will have you set in no time.

    What caliber is the Sig?

    Do you reload?

  2. Are you talking 1,000 yds or beyond?  I like Athlon and have a Midas TAC 5-25×56 and it is a nice scope.  I like it better than the Vottex's that I have owned in the past.

For long range out to and beyond 1,000 I run Schmidt and Bender  PMII's and have used my Nightforce Atacr out to a mile.  I have looked though a NF NX8 at a mile and it is impressive

  3. I have sent a bolt handle replaced by accu-tigg

The gunsmith that build my rifle took the measurements and or sent the action off to accu-tigg to make sure that the bolt timing would be correct.  I am sure that you could send accu-tigg the bolt and action yourself.

Once the handle is fixed an you check the headspace you may be GTG.  I have .308 gauges if you need me to check it for you after a repair.

If you get another bolt   Just run it up to Greg at Southern Precision Rifles http://www.bugholes.com/

  4. I do not have one yet, but there is a 99% chance that I will go to it when I need a re-barrel on one of my 6.5 rifles that I can order a pre-fit barrel for and do the barrel swap myself.

@MikeW do share! I’ve got 5 Cameron’s but still roll my antique ProPlatinum.
2 Xenons, Ping Answer something and Cleveland Huntington Beach 4 all get played.

I have a few camerons and other fancy putters than any sane person should own.  I play all of them,  I played this one for a couple of years.  It has a welded neck and I just don't see the welded necks on the tour or other camerons.

  6. I shoot LR 1250 a good bit and beyond 1250 when I have access.  To me the 50BMG is NICE but not the "king" of LR anymore.  The 375/408 Cheytac, 338LM, 416 Barrett and other "big guns" are super nice for "extended" long range.

If you are looking to go a mile our just out a little past that I say look into 300PRC or 338LM.  My 300wm is fine out to 1760.  I haven't shot my 338LM out to a mile yet but I am sure that it would make that shot easier.

Look into a few gunsmiths, talk to them, and tell them what you want a rifle to do and go from there. Or go off the shelf with a Barrett MRAD, Accuracy International, or other top shelf company.    If you are on FaceBook look to join the extended long range page and ask questions https://www.facebook.com/ELRCentral/       &   https://www.facebook.com/groups/261263037837539/?fref=nf
