  1. $7,800 scope & rifle $5,500 Rifle I found the USMC record book that goes with the rifle.
  2. If anyone is into military clone rifles, this M40A5 build is about as good as they get, but I do not have room in my safe for it anymore. It was built a couple of years ago by Mark at Raven Rifles. Mark is one of the better builders of "clone" rifles, and I would say that he is the best if you cannot get a 2112 at Quantico to build you one. They have stopped the "hobby shop" builds so I am not sure if that is even an option anymore. It has a few hard to find parts and would make a nice addition to someones collection, or a great shooter if desired. Since the build it has not been fired. Price is $8,000 with S&B Scope. Will sell without scope as well $5,700. I have a letter from the retired USN Seal that I purchased the bulk of the parts from if the next owner would like to have it with the rifle. Raven Rifles built https://ravenrifles.wordpress.com/m40a5/ Remington 700 G-Prefix Action (correct for M40A5's) New Schneider USMC contract barrel .308 USMC style recoil lug 30moa lugged base Badger USMC Rings and Simrad M24 Trigger (Issued *Rare*) McMillan A-4 Stock Surefire brake MB762SSAL/RE (no longer in production) PGW mount Harris 6-9 S-BRM notched KMW Pod-Loc short lever Badger M5 Bottom metal (SN Stamped) Schmidt & Bender 3-12x50 PMII LP MTC GenII Mil-dot (not M8541 marked) (Correct as you can get for the civilian market) (USMC SCOPE CAPS are NOT included) *Later I will post picture of USMC Rifle Record Book that is as issued with the USMC rifles. 4. My garandad was 507th PIR. Graduated jump school at Ft. Benning October 1942. He had to lug a carbine around a bit.
  5. http://www.bugholes.com/aboutus.asp Greg is the best within a drive from you. I have a custom rifle from him and it is one of my best rifles.

    Long Range

If you can make it to 500 then 600+ is not that much different. If you shoot with people that shoot to 1000+ I am sure they will have you set in no time. What caliber is the Sig? Do you reload?
  8. Are you talking 1,000 yds or beyond? I like Athlon and have a Midas TAC 5-25×56 and it is a nice scope. I like it better than the Vottex's that I have owned in the past. For long range out to and beyond 1,000 I run Schmidt and Bender PMII's and have used my Nightforce Atacr out to a mile. I have looked though a NF NX8 at a mile and it is impressive

  11. I think that the water temps are gonna keep fish very sluggish for a few more weeks. For me Priest and Old Hickory are in the high 40's to 50°.
  12. Please let me know If you decide to sell one or both.
  13. What's your budget? I have a Saiga SGL/21-62 (plum furniture) Made in Russia by Izhmash Imported by FIME Group. I have the original box, Arsenal test target and other paperwork Texas Weapon Systems Top cover with scope rail ( I have the original cover and rear sight) It is in very nice condition
  14. There is a rifle listed there that I'd like to contact the seller about, but I'm not paying a damn fee. This may save me money in the long run
  15. I have sent a bolt handle replaced by accu-tigg The gunsmith that build my rifle took the measurements and or sent the action off to accu-tigg to make sure that the bolt timing would be correct. I am sure that you could send accu-tigg the bolt and action yourself. Once the handle is fixed an you check the headspace you may be GTG. I have .308 gauges if you need me to check it for you after a repair. http://accu-tig.com/ If you get another bolt Just run it up to Greg at Southern Precision Rifles http://www.bugholes.com/

    6mm ARC

I do not have one yet, but there is a 99% chance that I will go to it when I need a re-barrel on one of my 6.5 rifles that I can order a pre-fit barrel for and do the barrel swap myself.
  17. Congrats it's a nice range. Do you plan to shoot long range?
  18. I shopped for a long time and picked up a large used TL30 from the safe house and then a nice new Superior Supreme SM35 from https://www.parkerssafesandvaults.com/ Parker's is in Shelbyville so it may be closer to you. I couldn't find anywhere that beat his prices and his install service was great.
  19. They do raise your street cred technically 99.9%
  20. I'd be a guinea pig today if needed.
  21. One more for the RCBS RC I have a Rockchucker JR that is from the early seventies I think and newer RC, both are well used and are still going strong.
  22. http://fflgundealers.net/match-service-works.html That link has the same number as I have for Ronnie
