I believe that Straegic Edge is the best around... but I am biased.
SE is about an hour and a half drive from Gallatin. I'm in mount juliet and it takes me about an hour fifteen minuets.
Until you get an invite to SE.... If I were you I would look into a couple other options.
Check into the Gallatin Gun Club range. I believe that their new range goes out to 400.
Dead Zero is about an hour and a half +/- from Gallatin. Their rifle range will go out to 1,000 when it is done (if it is not done already).

It's a nice range but at those prices I'll continue driving an hour to Desoto Rifle and Pistol in Como, MS.
That does seem a little steep for a range that only goes out to 400 yards....

You do NEED a 10/22
My newest is a 10/22 with a fedderson barrel and a victor titan stock. It currently has a Leupold Mk4 10x scope on it with a TMR reticle.
It shoots CCI Standard Velocity ammo like lasers out to 100. I will work it out to 200+ when I have time.
-
and I am just trying to gear up to shoot a mile soon. The canton that scope set up is insane.
-
Anything in the plans to eventually go past 400 yards on the rifle range? It would be really nice for them to go to 1,000+.
-
I have a built up 10/22 and it is a last to shoot. With CCI standard velocity (cheap ammo) it will hit just about anything that I want from 15 yards to 100. This may be the "most fun" gun that I own.
The barrel made a huge difference https://fjfeddersen.com/product/22-long-contoured-16-25-2/

I may wander over Saturday. I have the HK I might drag along and I am thinking of letting go of my Savage fcp in 338 lapua. Can't shoot as well as I used to and the T-Rex population is down here so no real need for it anymore.
Want to trade the 338 on a Savage LRP 6.5 Creedmoor? You can shoot it better and it is a cartridge for small to medium sized dinosaurs.

I have one ... I can meet in the rivergate area if that helps ya.

Pic's?
I'd leave it as is... even if it is just going to be a shooter.

I assume they are targeting private sales. If I wanted to sell you a firearm and we both live in TN and are able to legally own a firearm... then there is no background check required under current law(s).

Id' go G19 if I had to pick only one. However, right now I carrying a S&W 340pd .357 (pocket holster) that is crazy light due to its scandium frame.

The guy at Guns and Leather does good work. He is well liked in the 45 community.
I 100% agree, Jeff at G&L in Greenbrier is great.
I have never used... but have heard of http://www.customdefensellc.com/gunsmithing.htm doing good 1911 work. -
How is this a good marketing move?

Ok when Bump stocks go... when will the AR15 owners ( and other evil looking firearms e.g. glocks, Ak's, M1A's, etc) be told to cut their firearms in half or turn them into the local PD's?
Will bump stocks, triggers, and other devices that turn a gun into a "machine gun" go in the trash or will they be like the lightning links that went to the NFA registry? I remember when those were sold at gun shows many years ago.

1100lbs will be fun! Using the 2.3 will at least help with traction. A V8 upfront would make the ass end crazy and a heavy nose in the corners. So your wondering if your ring gap needs to be set lower (wider) for a 100 shot? As someone else said, your piston (ring) manufacturer will be the best source. I have heard people that run nitrous say that they run a wider gap, but too much of a gap may cause a blowby or other seal issues. If it were me (not the sharpest tool in the shed) I'd run a nitrous tune on my regular setup and spray it as is (wet kit) . Especially if you're only going to do it on a drag strip, if ever. Heck Ive seen 100 shots on factory, untuned, cast piston cars/trucks that survive for a "good while". BUT I've never seen it done on a 2.3. All of the 2.3L's that I've seen were SVO Mustangs (turbo).
What will your compression be? What tuning software? Suspension coilovers?Do you have build thread on a site somewhere... I'd like to watch the progress.
