  1. Has been asked before, never seen anyone say that was in their biz insurance policy or even claim an example where another company had such. - OS

Oops, misunderstood, oh well I was in the ballpark. It's just that it got cold so quick, hell I was still in shorts 3 days ago. We only stayed another 45min or so after y'all left. Enjoyed it though, and you enjoy yer new heater. - OS

Just buzzed owner. The follower was upside down, actually, spring okay. Thanks for the lead, though... - OS

I shot a couple mags worth through one today, from 10 yards, seemed perfectly adequate to me. I like the slim and light part of it for carry. Oh, owner just could not get get the 7th round in there, neither could I, was like the follower was too thick or something? Anyone else had that prob? - OS
  5. Though the USD may indeed crash and god knows the result, I've been much less concerned with all that that the accelerated threat to personal liberty that O's admin has represented. And now, to see much of the GOP as part of the same threat is indeed even more scary. - OS
  6. Yep, and best of luck actually collecting. - OS
  7. A non-student adult may store a firearm in car on school property, but the way statute is written, it is generally assumed that means unloaded, since it makes no distinction for HCP holders in that instance, and unlike the first paragraph in same statute does not mention "intent to go armed". And yes, on school property, with an HCP you may have loaded gun in car or on you only if picking up dropping off passengers. If you leave vehicle, see above. - OS
  8. You can't even legally GIVE a gun to a resident of another state without going through FFL of recipient's state, let alone SELL one. However, you can LOAN one. edit: to be precise, a long gun can be transferred in any state, assuming the FFL chooses to do it and it's not against state law. - OS
  9. Will he still be on the ballot here if he withdraws before our primary? Gonna just vote for him or write him in anyway if he does? - OS
  10. Didn't mean to "equate" him with the aforementioned. Then again, the Ole Walnut might have been among the greatest presidents in history sans the sabotage for his (let's assume true) peccadilloes, who knows. - OS
  11. Dang, thanks, couldn't resist. Flat .20/round delivered for brass cased, S&B is good stuff, can't beat that at Wally's. Wish I was flusher I wouldda really loaded up. Threw in some of the ole Herter's .223 too, shoots pretty well considering the powder is probably what a couple of babushkas sweep up off the floor after a run of the good stuff. It's saying "WGIFTS" now, but yours might work too. - OS
  12. Well, you know, Tom Jefferson's self-righteous behind got caught too, just took longer. And gasp, with a Negress. "Ask not what your country can do for you..." Oh, him too. "I have a dream ..." Oops, yep. Did Reagan slip around on Jane before Nancy? Can't remember. If every otherwise great American figure who did the nasty out of wedlock were cast aside, not sure that Declaration of Independence thing would have ever gotten off the ground. - OS
  13. My tongue in cheek metaphor is also specifically to suggest that Mas, in that work at least, constantly hammers about how you WILL be sued, even with a good shoot, and how your life will NOT EVER be the same, and basically suggests that even a good shoot will likely ruin you financially for years, and etc almost ad nauseam -- and that just ain't necessarily so anymore, what with some statutes in TN (and other states) that have come to be. Statutes that specify "no retreat" and "no lawsuit" under certain circumstances, strengthening of "castle doctrine" etc. Hell, you can even protect property with deadly force in Texas (but can't open carry, go figger). Etc etc. As a matter of fact, to give one example of how dated ITGE is, AFAIK there were NO shall issue permit states in 1980. - OS
  14. Pretty much what we'd all likely do in this radius from Oak Ridge, unless it's done extremely tactically with low yield. - OS
  15. Tell ya what B Man, if you commit to do it, I will too even if we're the only two, just to call the bluff on all these dang get together threads in this forum that have fizzled. It will be our small triumph. Course, I ain't camping as much as I'm just sleeping in the SHTF Van. Room for two iffen you get too cold, sailor. :) - OS
  16. How do you disprove an unsubstantiated allegation? Hell, looks like at worst he had a mistress for a while. Small change compared to MLK or JFK, eh? And a little of the old in out in out is sooo much worse than hatching your presidential run among self avowed revolutionary terrorists (and later adding them to your staff even), eh? What a wacky country, eh? Pardon my additional word to your sentence, but I believe that's all the GOP is ever gonna muster from now on. I did indeed predict that the Tea Party will be diluted and absorbed. Then again, look at the bright side -- maybe we won't be voting at all -- I ain't predicting it, but perhaps there's still that possibility. - OS
  17. Except that they don't always agree here, just like in court. And here, they're not even being paid to take a side! - OS
  18. Thanks, counselor, your expanded paraphrase will suffice quite nicely. - OS
  19. I absolutely believe he's gotten the Clarence Thomas treatment, in spades (oops, sorry). Seriously, I think he, as a conservative black and a non-political outsider, was a threat in various ways to both parties, and they done him in. And if this doesn't do it, they'll "find" more. - OS
  20. ITGE is over 30 years old, and much has changed in self-defense law in most states. After you read that you'll be more likely to throw a law book at the thug than shoot him. - OS
  21. You can't gift it period between interstate residents without FFL involved. But you can loan it. Or inherit it. Otherwise it's FFL time, one way or the other. And watch out for where you transport that damn Chore Boy scrubber, too! - OS
  22. Agree, and not trying to get last word even though I might ('cause I just don't much care, and you are obviously quite more learned in various coding genres than moi, and my brain consists of ever decreasing neurons and synapses between them) BUT my response was in response to plain ole HTML and in that plain vanilla mark up environment, <br> <br/> <br /> </br>, indeed <br anything at all>, all do the same thing in IE and Firefox, the only two browsers in which I ever test anything (but would bet that most if not all other browsers do the same) -- that is, they all cause a line break. That was my only assertion regarding that insertion although I'll also admonish against singin' Standin' on the Promises while sittin' on the premises. Back to your regularly scheduled TGO trouble shooting forum (where that thar plain ole HTML inserted into a post here doesn't work anyway, even using the HTML BBC tags in my experience). [/sorry, Sober But Sleepless] - OS
