I am working with my LGS now to get me a price on the gun I actually wanted. Lesson learned, the internet is still a box full of lies!!!!!!!
While I'm glad you got it worked out, if you write off buying firearms online because of this one transaction you're missing out pretty big. -
On the screenshots you have, do they have a disclaimer? Something like "actual product may vary from photo" or something?
If that were the case, and the part number was correct, then I can see how they would say you are "technically" at fault. Every other piece of this whole situation is terrible on their behalf, and I hope you get it worked out

That'll hurt until it stops

Care to tell what dealer in Columbia doesn't? PM me if need be. I live in Columbia, more curious than anything.

Good for you for putting action to your thoughts. I have monkey hands it it would be far too long for me personally, but if it works for you that's all that matters. I actually use short levers on all my ambi short throw selectors because of my yeti like features

I have to apologize for not making it. Unfortunately every vehicle in our stable has required some kind of work in the last month, and as many of you know that can take a toll on the fun monies. I will definitely attend one in the future.

I'm not sure I fully understand your original post. Who makes the lower and the upper? I've been wanting to find exactly what you have because I too have a bunch of Glock mags.
Thanks for posting.
New frontier actually manufactures them, but these are Joe Bob branded. IIRC the upper he is referring to has to BHO built into it. -
Pistols are only to get you to your rifle.

Looks good man. After having trouble from my BHO on my QC10 lower, I was left wishing I had went a similar route as you.

Great minds think alike. I've used this rail before and loved it. I regret ever selling it and will go back to one soon. It's perfect for running an AFG on that bottom rail.- 1

Man, I'm not even what I would consider a revolver guy, but what you have are things of beauty sir!
-
Someone bought the last one while I was on the phone asking if it came with a mount. I called Primary Arms, and a replacement for that model is going to be released "soon". They could not elaborate any further.
That stinks, but I am interested in seeing the next gen. -
The same one they don't make anymore?
They may not make them, but they're out there

Ah, that looks similar to the Vortex Strikefire. I had one and liked it.
Shh...don't tell anyone this isn't a Aimpoint Pro on my beater. Same model as above

Primary Arms.
Yep. I have 4 of their dots, love em all. I have too many weapons to have $400+ optics on each. -
Either I've been super lucky, or need my eyes checked. I'd wager I've put together maybe 30 something AR's and never noticed a big variation in receivers. I've seen rails that were off, but not so much receivers

I was going to tell you to keep the $50 and just let me come up and put some rounds through it ;)
Good for you man, make sure you post pictures -
Ohh, I see. Apparently the graph I'm looking at only shows barrel availability, I thought it was referring to the entire barreled unit. You're right, the Taclite T1 says 16 week lead time for the receiver, my fault
-
Is this what you're looking for? The link doesn't show the bolt knob side, but here's that side
http://www.tactilite.com/mobile/Product.aspx?id=37521
It shows the 18.5" barrel as in stock and the 24" as low stock -
I'm in to learn too. That being said...I have a large safe and will gladly babysit!

I have put at least 20 lowers together without a block. I'm starting to believe I don't need one.
Same here. I use the DPMS upper block linked above, works good to me. -
I've done the exact same thing before. Most recently I've noticed I haven't shot for groups worth a dern with a 1" bullseye target. But, if I shoot a round off on the side of the target and then aim at that bullet hole for the following rounds, my groups shrink again. Likely a concentration issue. As you put it, loose screw behind the gun.

If someone would donate a pint of gas, I think I could get us back to the dock.
Gas is on the rise, smart to only ask for a pint
