I was at a cash america pawn shop doing my weekly browsing around today and there was a guy of foreign descent...dont wanna sound racist or anything but definatly worships mohammad. He could barely be understood through a HEAVY accent and sparse english...but he wanted to buy an old double barrel O/U but didnt have a drivers liscence. the guy behind the counter said that was ok there is a "special" form for legal immigrants with no D/L. Is this true? I have always been asked to make sure my D/L matches what i am writing down on the buyers form. I didnt have time to wait because I was at lunch and dont know if he got it but is it possible to get a gun without verifying an address?

It all depends on Where you score your guns from, with (4) 10 round mags, and (3) 15 round mags, the PC9 and the P89 I am looking around 900...Coulda bought an AR and Probally should have but I didnt buY it all at once...I just watched a PC9 go on gunbroker for over 630 but I didnt pay that much for mine. they seem kind of a rarity and ruger fans collect them.

Right down the street here in nashville at Guns for America. I was REALLY hesitant about buying it...I have a hi-point 995 that has been nothing but good to me and saw the ruger hanging there...it was actually calling out to me...I held it for a few minutes and put it back....they saw my interest...I asked if they could sweeten the deal in any way...they threw in 4 mags,a bulldog soft gun case, a new hat, and a political bumper sticker. I couldnt refuse! I now have a 995 for sale there is no comparison between the two it is now my favorite gun!

They do share the same mag's. and they offer the same carbine in a .40 to match the 40 cal p series pistols too.

Well they're new to me anyways... Ruger PC9 and it's companion P89.

this is GREAT. I have a friend crazy enough to pull that off!!

I was told by twra on the phone that if a coyote is in city limits you can shoot it with any legal firearm during daylight. They are becoming that big of a nusiance. you MUST be sure you are not shooting recklessly/dangerously and not just going rambo but if she is scared or it is problematic to her on her OWN property she can shoot them. call the twra if you are questioning me. the police may come but tennessee's state atorney general will back you up.

I recieved one of those generic roadside help bags for christmas...you know the one your inlaws get you every other year that has the cheap tools and realy thin jumper cables and a reflective triangle in it...It has two large compartments in the middle and a couple of velcro closure pockets on the front, it too is double stiched and even has a cute little first aid pocket on the front already stocked.

I am having similar issues, I Used to think academy sports had friendly guys there, but TWICE and very recently I have had a pocket of cash just burning to be spent on a new toy and they didnt even acknoledge me, one time the counter guyS were just BS'ing about how were all screwed and everybody needs an ar with a drunk guy. I left and went to G&L and still didnt recieve what I was expecting, I ended up going on LSN and buying used.

i'm wondering if your talking about a safe...like a small space, or a safe room...like a large space...if you removed one stair and boxed it in from the back kinda like a shallow toy box and used a hidden hinge on the actual step depending on the width of your stair case I think it would house alot of cool stuff. could do more than one stair if needed. depending if your stairs were carpeted or just stained wood i think it would be pretty neat. and if you boxed them all in and only had one storage space it would be pretty hard to tell from behind which one was a storage compartment.

I just wanted to let people in nashville know there is a gun store open that I had never visited until about 30 minutes ago...i'm sure people have already tried them out but if you havent I would suggest it. I had a great experience there, colorful conversation combined with knoledgable salesman behind the counter was very friendly and was appreciative for my business. It is guns for america right down from 100 oaks mall. Im sure everyone has their favorite store but I really did have a good experience there and wanted to share it with everyone here on TGO. hope this kind of rant is allowed here and not in the wrong forum either.

I dont think they're as ugly as you guys let on! I think my little carbine is handsome! and it shoots GREAT.

It's a toy gun that my 8 month old just recieved from his grandfather...my father in-law. I was wondering if anyone knew the era these were produced in. He said it was his fathers so its coming down from 4 generations. I'm going to make a little minature gun rack and put it on his wall. it still wotks and will shoot the little wine bottle cork bullet i made for it across the room!

Just wanted to say hello to everybody. My name is Greg and I live in Gallatin, TN. My current but growing collection consists of: (1) Tapco'd SKS, (1) Hi-point 995 carbine...that I say proudly, (1) Mossberg 500, (1) Mossberg plinkster...that kinda worries the guys at the indoor range cause they see a scope and have to come ask me EVERYTIME what caliber im shooting, and (1) Hi-point C9.
