So has anyone been giving this Trey guy any traffic on his blogspot? He REALLY is against guns in bars, and anything we try to stand up for in general! I have been dropping by his blogspot since Nikki started posting about him, I am just wondering if anyone else ever visits it. He is offering his professional background services to any tennessee business who wants a custom no guns allowed sign for posting. The Tao Of Trey Shearer

I searched...most people are making beer here. I am interested in making homemade wine, My Grandfather made wine from the berries he grew...blackberries, elderberrys, and such. He always had a glass carboy with the relief thing on top sitting around bubbeling and not much else I can remember, I am interested in a simple setup like this. I dont know much about it and have been reading online but I am pretty sure his process was simple, the wine was ok...I drank some that was syrup-y and not so great but others were tastefully good and had quite a bite! I would like to see if anyone here has brewed wine and could give some pointers on a simple setup that produces decent-good wine, and the equipment to do it with with out breaking the bank.

URGENT: Gallatin Tennessee is Attempting to Opt-Out of New Park Carry Law! Please Contact Your Local Officials! Several Tennessee counties and municipalities have started the process to opt-out of the new park carry law before its effective date (Tuesday, September 1). The City of Gallatin is considering opting out the new law and will formally consider a proposal to do so soon. On Tuesday, July 14 at 5:30 p.m., the City of Gallatin City Council will consider a park carry opt-out, resolution 2009-R-7. This resolution, if passed, would prohibit law-abiding permit holders from carrying a firearm for self-defense in local parks within city limits. This meeting is open to the public, so we encourage you to attend in support of our Second Amendment rights. All those who wish to speak at the Council Committee Meeting, may have the opportunity to do so at the beginning of the meeting. Please get there early. The Gallatin city council will discuss the proposal, and may follow-up with a motion to opt-out of your right to carry in the city of Gallatin parks. The best way to get your opinion through to your local officials is to contact them immediately. Please respectfully urge them not to create a confusing patchwork of laws that will close off local parks to law-abiding permit holders who simply wish to be able to protect themselves and their families. Details and contact information are provided below. Please forward this email to fellow permit holders and Second Amendment supporters. Gallatin, TN City of Gallatin - Home Resolution: item #6 on the agenda When: Tuesday, July 14 @ 5:30 pm Where: City Hall, Mayor’s Conference Room 132 W Main Street Gallatin, TN 37066

some say we dont have feral pigs in middle tennessee either...I have personally seen a whole herd of the crazy, ugly, hard to hit targets in Castailian springs! Me and my brother stomped through rocky and wooded area's in carthage(smith county) where there are alot of venomus snakes and never saw one or even heard a rattle, I think they usually hear you coming around here! I have always dreaded seeing one and luckily havent yet even in collinwood where we now go to hunt. their there but I think if your careful/aware/ bumbeling and loud going through the woods like we do you should be fine.

AP-Boston April 19, Scores Killed, Hundreds Injured as Para-Military Extremists Riot in Boston Area National guard units seeking to confiscate a cache of recently banned assault weapons were ambushed on April 19th by elements of a paramilitary extremist faction. Military and law enforcement sources estimate that 72 were killed and more than 200 injured before government forces were compelled to withdraw. Speaking after the clash Massachusetts Governor Thomas Gage declared that the extremist faction, which was made up of local citizens, has links to the radical right-wing tax protest movement. Gage blamed the extremists for recent incidents of vandalism directed against internal revenue offices. The governor, who described the group's organizers as "criminals," issued an executive order authorizing the summary arrest of any individual who has interfered with the government's efforts to secure law and order. The military raid on the extremist arsenal followed widespread refusal by the local citizenry to turn over recently outlawed assault weapons. Gage issued a ban on military-style assault weapons and ammunition earlier in the week. This decision followed a meeting early this month between government and military leaders at which the governor authorized the forcible confiscation of illegal arms. One government official, speaking on condition of anonymity, pointed out "none of these people would have been killed had the extremists obeyed the law and turned over their weapons voluntarily." Government troops initially succeeded in confiscating a large supply of outlawed weapons and ammunition. However, troops attempting to seize arms and ammunition in Lexington met with resistance from heavily armed extremists who had been tipped off regarding the government's plans. During a tense standoff in Lexington 's town park, National Guard Colonel Francis Smith, commander of the government operation, ordered the armed group to surrender and return to their homes. The impasse was broken by a single shot, which was reportedly fired by one of the right-wing extremists. Eight civilians were killed in the ensuing exchange. Ironically, the local citizenry blamed government forces rather than the extremists for the civilian deaths. Before order could be restored, armed citizens from surrounding areas had descended upon the guard units. Colonel Smith, finding his forces overmatched by the armed mob, ordered a retreat. Governor Gage has called upon citizens to support the state/national joint task force in its effort to restore law and order. The governor has also demanded the surrender of those responsible for planning and leading the attack against the government troops. Samuel Adams, Paul Revere, and John Hancock, who have been identified as "ringleaders" of the extremist faction, remain at large. Dont ever forget, 234 Years Ago -- Our Nation Began. This could very well happen again.

I tried to convince my wife we could save money while on vacation to gatlinburg if we ate in dinner one night and breakfast another day...Well I took her to the camping section of walmart and tried to convince her the mountain house freeze dried stuff would be good because we had no way to cook in the motel....just a fridge and a coffee pot and we could just add hot water to the bag and have beef stroganoff for dinner...she was less than thrilled with my idea...we went over budget while in g-burg!
