  1. Interesting about the 8 pellet theory... I wonder if it has to do with how they are stacked? Ill have to look in to that.     I want to be as unlimited by a shotguns spread as I can be, (meaning the tighter the better). Being the good guys, every round and or pellet that comes out of my gun I am responsible for.  So a tighter pattern means have have a greater distance to work with in a self defense type of situation. But this is a HD gun not a bird/clay gun where I guess a larger spread would be more desirable.
  2. Guys, this weekend I took a fighting shotgun class at tactical response. At one point of the class we checked our patterning with 00 Buck. With my Mossberg 590 (smooth bore, no choke) It was one ragged hole at 7 yards and at 25 yards all 8 pellets were on target in maybe a 10-12 inch spread. I wish I took pictures.     This ammo out preformed any other buck shot. Now not everyone's guns will shoot the same, but the instructors said this was the 3rd time they have seen this ammo come through the class and it excelled every time. While it is only 8 pellets it is at 1600 FPS.  Tight groups, I can make hostage shots at 7 yards with it.   While it may not work the best in your gun, I suggest you try it if you can. Not too expensive either.    http://www.midwayusa.com/product/151704/hornady-critical-defense-ammunition-12-gauge-2-3-4-00-buckshot-box-of-10
  3. He asked me to break it down as much as i could.
  4. I have a Silencer Co Octane, with normal height sights. I just shoot through the can. But XS Big dots now make a Suppressor height sights I've though about getting those.
  5.   Its mostly because the CZ Evo receiver is a PITA to dissemble.
  6. Just needs an optic, but the x400 works great on this setup.
  7.   So I could hand engrave the receiver under the stock adapter(hidden but on the actual receiver), then also have the trigger pack engraved, its not part of the receiver but it would be 100% visible?
  8. LOL!!! Believe me as soon it comes in ill be posting pictures.
  9. Ok so my SBR was approved for a CZ Scorpion Evo. I'm going to get it engraved this week but I have a question. Is there an issue with engraving the lower "trigger pack" by the magwel? The S/N is obviously engraved from the factory in the correct and acceptable position. But I'm talking about trust info and City, State.    For those of you that don't know about the cz I'll put this in AR-15 terms... It would be like engraving your upper with the trust info, not the lower receiver.   Or if you had an SCAR the S/N is on the metal upper and the trust info on the plastic lower....    I'm wanting to do this cause it is way easier to remove the trigger pack then it is do dissemble the whole gun to get the upper engraved.
  10. Well I caved and bought a magpul SL stock and KAK buffer tube adapter. I figure when the factory stock is available I can sell this combo so anther CZ owner.
  11. Form 1 Approved today!   Now i need to decide on if i want to wait for the factory stock...
  12. Royal range is starting to get cans, they are trying to beat SilencerShop's prices. However you will have to pay tax.
  13. No updates. Still waiting on my F1. I haven't pre-ordered a compliance kit, but i think for the money this option cant be beat.
  14. Im at 102 days for my E-file Form 1.  I'm hoping for mid-September.
  15. I would take apart and clean the nelson devices. In my experience, a dirty or gunked up nelson devices will keep the gun from cycling.
  16. AAC Evo45 (without Nelson Device?) and AAC TiRant (with Nelson Device?)
  17. Everything is under a trust. And the trust is not associated with an address.
  18. What suppressor? Most of the time its because the suppressor doesn't have a nelson device.
  19. Ok guys need some help here. We are moving, not out of state, only about 2 miles away. I have a trust, and a few NFA items. And 1 SBR waiting to be approved.    I have heard that I don't have to file with the ATF that I moved, also i have heard that I do.    Anyone who has gone through this will you share with me your experiences? Thanks in advance.
  20. Drove by it today on my way home... Name changed to Royal Range...   Im guessing for copy right problems.
  21. Look in to the D3 chest rig from Haley Strategic. It will hold 4 AK/AR mags and will clip on to a plate carrier if needed. I personally went with a SOE PALS micro rig and put HSGI Tacos and a D.A.R.K. medical kit. But this was before HSP offered the D3. (But i hardly use this option.) Every class I've taken and anytime I train I use the HSGI Leg Rig V1. In the Tennessee heat and humidity a small leg rig that holds 2 rifle mags and 3 pistol mags is very attractive. My set up has changed and I run much slicker now. Also changed to a g19 from the kimber.
  22. Raven Concealment for the Glock mag and HSGI Extended Pistol Tacos. I have HSGI mag pouches on all of my stuff they are the best.
