1. Hahaha well its for my wife, but yeah I'm thin too.
2. Well ok here you go. This is a good little set up, technically my wifes. Let me know if you want the details on what everything is. I think all I'm missing is the factory stock and VFG (pending form 1 approval) and aimpoint. And maybe a small med kit on the rig.
3.   Ha, yeah. I actually got 4x 30 rounders from cote. They'll be here tomorrow. Also got a sling on the way.... I'm working on a duty belt/battle belt rig for my wife as this is ahem... "her gun"
4. Wait a guy in Fairview? Is it a small shop that is shared with his son's audio visual company? If so i know the place you are talking about. He is super awesome! I forget the name of the shop right now.... I have built 7 ARs now. (not all for me) and I agree with you. I've found that the part I like to spend the most on is the barrel, followed by the rail, then the trigger (if funds allow). I've had to shoot out of my FJ too! I never heard of BHW. In that price range I've had a lot of luck with Spikes Tactical Barrels. This 14.5 Noveske Afghan barrel is the best one i have ever owned. But it sounds like it was a faulty barrel, I'm glad it worked out. Interested in how the CS is.
5. I've yet to handle one my self. I would like too however.
6. I agree the Sig is an attractive option. But they lowest I've seen is $1300 vs $750 for the CZ. Mags for Sig are $60, Cz Mags are $20 and the CZ is a proven design.
7.     922r does not apply to pistols, only to rifles.  Cz can import pistols without 922r compliance issues. But once I SBR it, I am making it a rifle therefore 922r applies. 922r only applies to imported guns, the Sig MPX is American made, so 922r is a non issue.
8. Went to sight in the new X400 yesterday. Was able to get some decent groups at 25 yards suppressed resting the forend on a backpack. So far the stacked thread adapters are working great no baffle or end cap strikes. I could have probabbly done better. But i pulled a few within the 3 shot groups. Not to bad for steel cased tullammo. After the range trip I was cleaning a few things, got up to put the CLPs away and he took my seat on the floor. I had to snap a picture.
9. A form 1 implies that you are building a SBR, not one that came from the factory. That's the whole reason they have to be engraved with the trust information be cause the trust is building the SBR. The ATF has stated that 922r compliance does apply to the EVO when you SBR it. 922r does not apply to pistols. Which is how CZ is getting away with finally bringing the EVO in to the USA by importing it as a pistol only.
10. If i'm reading the Reginfo.gov web site correctly, it states that they will make a decision December 2015. Not that the new ruling goes in to effect. And if I'm not mistaken they have pushed that date many many times.
11. I was able to shoot it on memorial day. Very little only about 50 rounds suppressed. So that's about a total of 200 through the gun(all of the rounds were steel cased Tulammo). I've had zero malfunctions. The stacked thread adapters work great! no baffle or end cap strikes even when I shot a whole mag as fast as I could. I haven't done an accuracy test yet. There is a surefire X400 showing up for this today and ill run out to the range this week to sight in the laser and see what kind of group I can get. I do have to say the trigger is horrible, and the ambi safety digs in to your finger when shooting. There is a $12 end cap you can buy to replace the right side safety, but I'm going to try and modify the existing first.    I'll post pics as things progress.
12.   No I had to buy a thread adapter from the scorpion threads 18x1 to 1/2x28 here http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=484668611   Then i bought a 1/2x28 to HK 3 lug here. http://www.hkparts.net/shop/pc/HK-3-Lug-Adapter-1-2-X-28-5p106.htm   So it's 2 adapters stacked with Rock Set to keep them from walking off.     Now, TROS is supposedly making a one piece thread adapter that will go from 18x1 to HK 3 lug but his wait time is probably close to 2 months and this works fine and doesn't add un-necessary length. I just have to figure out how i'm going to paint of blue the stainless steel thread adapter.
13. Agreed. I really want the factory folding stock. Hopefully by the time my F1 comes back they will be available.
14. Well I finally found one at a decent price. a Cz EVO!!!! I E-file a Form 1 two days ago. Found some thread adapters. HK 3 lug and a 3 lug adapter for it needless to say I'm pretty stoked! Before my adapters came in. 18x1 to 1/2x28 then a 1/2x28 to HK 3 Lug Octane 9 3 lug came too!! Assembled. I have yet to shoot it with the suppressor attached.
15. Whelp, here's things as they stand. Reliability so far is exemplary. I slapped a Vortex Sparc I had on the rail, just to see if I wanted to keep a red dot on it. I'm unsure. I do like the red dot, but I also like how well I can see the rest of the world when there isn't a sight I have to look through. And, the irons are by no means inadequate. I'll probably pull the dot off... Trigger is just ok. I suspect, like all my CZs, it will be easily hopped up. As has been mentioned, a different grip with a more perpendicular grip angle would be fantastic, but this works. Would a small red dot riser help out with the sight height? Or do you feel its un-necessary?
16. I have formal training... How much? Is it IDPA rules?    Also are observers welcome?
17. Well there were none at the Nashville gun show... At least that I saw.
18. Im trying to find one of these localy to purchase!!! Has anyone seen one in the Nashville area????
19. Aim Point Pro Patrol can be had for right around the $400 mark. If you want to spend a little more, you can get a Aim Point T1 with a mount for $660(and a H1 for a little less). I don’t like EOtechs, The battery life on an Aim Point kills the EOtech I have left my T1 on for 2 years now. And Aim Points are indestructible.
20. I have the same problem. But I don’t let it bother me, If I am taking my time to make a precise shot then I flip up my rear(only) back up iron sight. Forcing my eye to co-witness looking thorough the peep hole, it always makes the 2MOA dot on my Aim Point crystal clear and a perfect dot. Try it you might be surprised. Deff a lot cheaper than an eye doctor.
21. Well here it is all complete! Picked it up on Saturday!
22. They said I only had pages 1-8 in there. The trust is 11 pages long.
23. UPDATE!!!!   I called in for a status on 1/13/15 and was notified of an error letter. I guess I didn’t supply G&L will all the pages of my Trust. I Emailed them everything that was missed on 1/14/15   I then Called in  1/20/15 and found out my form 4 was approved 1/15!!! I should be receiving my Tax Stamp and time!!!!   I am very excited to say the least.
